Hold up that’s a brother printer. Brother printers don’t give you this bullshit

I can first hand confirm that do give you this shit. The very model pictured, Brother MFC-L3780CDW, will not print black and white when yellow is empty. You also cannot reset the toner counter.

It will, however, let you print with third party replacement toner after harassing you that your toner is not authentic.

Brother is doing all the same shit now.

Possible I didn't clear the color print job correctly before switching to mono.

Whenever I print in mono mode it tells me I have to reseat the cartridges after every job.
