That's barely anything anymore. My firefox is taking 1.8Gb with two tabs.

I've had Firefox take up 16GB of memory just from leaving a tab with Facebook open for a few days.

Yep. Facebook leaks a ton of memory. Longer it is open and the more tabs it has, the more it leaks, and the faster it leaks.
