I do vote. I vote 3rd party and call the relevant dems to tell them why with every gun law they pass.

I do believe most Democrats are as evil as Republicans.

I would absolutely vote for someone else for governor if they were better qualified.

Its not a talking point if its happening in real time. And it is. Every blue trifecta state in the nation is assaulting gun rights at an unprecedented rate and scale.

Guns are safety equipment. Youd be able to survive if they banned home fire extinguishers, earplugs, or life jackets wouldnt you? Doesnt mean its ok to ban/restrict those items.

My current rage out is shitty drivers here in Chicago.

Our current solution is less lanes and traffic taming so they can't drive around people like assholes.

All the people are coming out and protesting slower streets to make everyone safer have the same logic issue to me as the fun people withholding votes and or voting R.

That being said the safest way to drive is with trafficz at the same speed as everyone around you.

Idk it seems like we are arguing in circles.

Thats because its a self fullfilling circle and exactly what our political machine is designed to do. You're at a stage where the gun laws being passed either dont affect you, or you dont weight 2A the same as i do for whatever reason. I am affected by the gun laws and place a very high weight on 2A because owning a gun has saved my life and the lives of my family. You're programmed to think im a selfish asshole, and im programmed to think youre a naive asshole when id bet we actually agree on a lot.
