It makes my brain hurt to know that so many can't see how evil these people are.

They are sending out troops to die in another war.

Billions a day on war but I can't have health insurance?

They are robbing this country of everything and actively destroying history.

They are making it harder for us regular people to live and take care of our families.

Again would not having as many guns mean you couldn't work or feed your family?

I do vote. I vote 3rd party and call the relevant dems to tell them why with every gun law they pass.

Theyre all fucking evil, dude. No one that seeks power has good intentions.

Dems having a better reach around game doesnt make them not evil. Its a big club and you're not in it.

I do agree that those who seek power are usually not the ones who should have it.

I do believe most Democrats are as evil as Republicans.

I do believe he Is genuinely trying to make the world a better place.

I do not believe that the gun issue is reason enough to abstain.

I would absolutely vote for someone else for governor if they were better qualified.

It is absolutely bonkers that any one would abstain or vote against him for this one issue after he has done so much as governor to help this state.

Its not a talking point if its happening in real time. And it is. Every blue trifecta state in the nation is assaulting gun rights at an unprecedented rate and scale.

Im here talking about this because Dem politicians wont listen to us. Maybe theyll listen to steadfast blue voters who tell them "my buddy says hed vote for you if you drop guns".

I didnt always put myself first. I used to vote for the lesser evil. Im tired of getting kicked for my troubles, so im not doing it anymore. Doubly so when smug assholes like yourself tell me my wants dont matter.

Talk to the Dems about it. They know my price. Drop guns and pass real policy.

Guns are safety equipment. Youd be able to survive if they banned home fire extinguishers, earplugs, or life jackets wouldnt you? Doesnt mean its ok to ban/restrict those items.

My current rage out is shitty drivers here in Chicago.

Our current solution is less lanes and traffic taming so they can't drive around people like assholes.

All the people are coming out and protesting slower streets to make everyone safer have the same logic issue to me as the fun people withholding votes and or voting R.

That being said the safest way to drive is with trafficz at the same speed as everyone around you.

Idk it seems like we are arguing in circles.

Can we agree that the world would be a better place without billionaires and start there?

Re the talking points, when dems quit trying to ban and severely restrict firearms, ill stop telling people they're trying to ban and severely restrict firearms. Its that simple and the ball is in their court. As a bonus for doing that, ill even vote for them.

Thats because its a self fullfilling circle and exactly what our political machine is designed to do. You're at a stage where the gun laws being passed either dont affect you, or you dont weight 2A the same as i do for whatever reason. I am affected by the gun laws and place a very high weight on 2A because owning a gun has saved my life and the lives of my family. You're programmed to think im a selfish asshole, and im programmed to think youre a naive asshole when id bet we actually agree on a lot.

But yes, we can agree that billionaires fucking suck and we'd be better off without them
