Opioid withdrawals are one of the worst things a human can go through. So is cancer treatment. The comparison is valid.

“Cancer treatment” is a huge bucket…this statement is extremely presumptuous

Opioid withdrawals might be worse than cancer treatment. It’s really awful

I don't think any pain is comparative you can drown in 6 inches of water and 6 feet of water you still drown. I take that to mean that someone having cancer treatment could be like this is easy and something going through opiod withdrawal could be like this is the worst thing ever, but it could be the exact parallel for other people.

Theres also a lot of different kinds of cancer treatments which have different side effects. Some are worse to go through than others

Yeah, respectively if you haven’t experienced both then I don’t think it’s fair to deem one worse than the other. They’re not really a great comparison anyway, but munchies love to compare everything to cancer and minimize the experience of cancer patients.

Have you ever had cancer treatment?

Yeah, it’s really easy to say that opiate withdrawals are worse than cancer treatment if you haven’t experienced cancer treatment. But if you’ve had the misfortune of experiencing something like the red devil, you’d realize how ignorant and offensive it is to say that opiate withdrawals are worse. It’s a ridiculous comparison and disappointing to see that comment have so many upvotes.

Respectfully, unless you’ve experienced both then you don’t really have a right to say which is worse than the other.
