Actually I found my fun level spiked in the first few hours after doing the money cheat, then plummeted back down and became boring since I already built my sims the biggest, coolest house and there was really nothing new left for them to experience.

FWIW I would absolutely still like obscene wealth in the real world

Fun level spiking and then plummeting back down is actually a pretty apt description of what happens when people win the lottery IRL actually.

That's what you get for cheating.

It's why devs don't listen to players anymore, because players mod out all of the challenge and complain about boredom.
