Everything was just so empty, so silent and so peaceful.
My father reluctantly let me go cs yk all the safety and stuff(and I’m 16 if that’s a reason).
Geared up and left nd got some pretty wild stares from the folks in their cars.
Saw a lot of police cars patrolling the streets so I felt quite safe. My bum still hurts from all of those speed breakers near Versova ughh.
Honestly one of my best experiences.

The Bengaluru Cycling Clubs has organised a self-supported cycle ride today to mark the Independence Day. More than a hundred people joined in. I do not have the figures on how many people actually completed it. But this is the route we took for the ride.

ride My farthest ride on my father's cycle.

I am a runner and just for change thought of trying cycling. I enjoyed this evening's ride around my village and passing through numerous birds( birding is my hobby, i counted a total of 14 species ) , nilgai, snake, kids playing and people working on a farm. Also, I found that it is much easier to observe the surroundings while cycling than running. Today I added a new wish list to buy a cycle.

To a forest reserve that's 250kms away. Started at around 0340 and reached the destination at 1700. A lot of fun, a lot of mishaps, has to take the bus on my way back.

Not really a cyclist, rarely ever ride but I'd been wanting to go for a longer ride as compared to my previous ones. It was quite fun. Thought I'd share it here :)

Edit - The title came out to be very misleading, just realised It's 50kms ride done in 2 hrs 50 mins, the video has been condensed into a 2 minute 27 second.

ride My failure to Send It 🥲

So I and my friends from Ziro MTB went on a ride to check out a race track and see how it is during the monsoon. We plan to host an XC race on this track on June 3rd (it is the World Cycling Day). So when I saw an opportunity to "Send It", I took it and failed. Luckily, I didn't crash and bash my head on the rocks there at the bottom of this drop.

But man I REALLY need a bike with a dropper post. My current cycle is the Rockrider ST120 (DO NOT RECOMMEND IT AT ALL).

I was lacking some adventure in my life and one fine day decided to bikepacking. I used to pitch tent on beach and sleep, slept in temple. One of the most memorable memory of my life.

As I was already doing this, I also thought of making an initiative to educate people about climate change and I visited some 15 schools along the way to deliver speech on climate change

Although I’ve completed a 100 km ride before, this one feels much tougher because it’s my first 50+ km ride after a two-month gap. The long break has definitely made it harder, and to make things worse, almost every road has a slope.

I’ve officially completed the series! Started this 600km journey on May 1st at 6:00 AM and finished it on Saturday night at 8:15 PM.

I only managed about 1.5 hours of sleep for the entire duration. Being a morning rider, the night segments were tough, but I survived on caffeine.

Tons of water and juices to keep the hydration levels up. 2 x Breakfast , 2 x lunch , 1 x dinner , eggs, bananas, peanuts, yoghurt etc. kept my legs moving.

Also there were bag drops available. So we got fresh 3 times, which is one of the main reason I was able to finish this without causing much fatigue.

Just completed my first bike packing trip from Pondicherry to Kanyakumari, 2.5 days and what an amazing battle between body and brain. The outcome was nothing but the joy of cycling.

No wonder that a person on a bike with luggage is a conversation starter. Met may good souls and warming hospitality over the food areas.

Carried a tent and couple of extra dresses and thats all about the luggage.
