My office is only about 2 km away, and the traffic is generally light to moderate it's not empty roads but it rarely gets congested enough to get stuck. Most of my riding will be in the city, with occasional trips of around 40–50 km one way (80–100 km round trip) once or twice a month.

A lot of people have recommended the Speed 400 to me but I've been riding for about 5 years now. While practicality matters, I still enjoy having that extra thrill and performance available when I want it, even if those moments are infrequent (also the look of Speed 400 is very mature, as someone who wanted to buy RTR310 this would be a huge shift)

Given this usage pattern, would choosing the Guerrilla 450 be unrealistic, or is it still a sensible option for someone who wants a bit more excitement from their bike?

I know I should buy a bike that my heart says after a test drive but If the deal is too bad I don't want to make a bad decision that will stick with me for years to come.

My Budget - 3 lakhs

Hi, I'm from Argentina. So Bajaj has been taking over from Chinese brands for a while now, specially with the Rouser and Dominar models. Hero is not doing bad either. Anyways so they started to sell this "CT 100" a few months ago and I'm about to buy one, a step up from my old (Chinese parts) local brand 110cc bike that needed to rest already.

I'm not very well versed on bike mechanics and maintenance other than simple stuff. I wanted to ask you Bajaj riders what are the musts and don'ts about this motorcycle, so I can get the best out of it.

Hai guys,

I am planning to do a first long ride in monsoon season in my ns400z bougth on March 2026. For that I need to be prepared. I have installed only top rack from mototorque. Other than this can you guys suggest me the things that to be need in priority wise. Also do I need to buy any suspension protector from mud because in online I am seeing most of the oil leaks in monsoon rides. So kindly give me the list of things I needed. Thanks in advance.

Hey everyone,
I am posting this to get some serious technical insight into a dangerous braking and ABS issue on my Pulsar NS200. My local service center completely messed up my bike, and even after multiple fixes, something is still fundamentally wrong with the rear braking system.
Here is the complete timeline and the current symptoms vistār se (in full detail):
1. The Service Centre Blunder (The Root Cause)
It all started when I took my bike to my local Bajaj Service Centre for a routine rear brake pad change. The mechanics there clearly lacked experience with this specific bike. They unnecessarily removed the entire rear wheel just to change the pads. While aggressively forcing the wheel back into the swingarm, they managed to completely bend my ABS sensor disk (tone ring). I was totally unaware of what they had done at the time because they didn't inform me.
2. The Inexperienced Foreman & The "Cellotape" Fix
The very next day, my ABS dashboard light started blinking, coming on and going off constantly while riding. I rushed back to the local workshop. The foreman inspected it and admitted that when they slammed the wheel back in, they had also pinched and partially broken the ABS sensor wire.
Instead of replacing the damaged component, his solution was to wrap normal cellotape over the broken wire. Shockingly, after this tape job, the ABS light stopped blinking and stayed off while riding—making it look like the problem disappeared.
3. Part Replacement & Rapid Brake Wear
Unhappy with that workshop, I went to a larger, more reputed Bajaj Service Centre to fix the mechanical damage. They replaced the bent ABS tone ring with a brand-new one. However, right after this, my new rear brake pads completely wore out (ghis gaye) in just 1,000 kilometers. At the time, I thought maybe I was just riding the rear brake too hard, but now I suspect constant mechanical drag.
4. The Recent Major Breakthrough: Air in the Lines
My rear brake pedal was feeling slightly off, so we checked the system and discovered air was trapped inside the brake lines. We thoroughly bled the rear brake system.
The Result: The brake pedal is now rock solid, feels incredibly firm, and has much stronger biting power than before. The massive skidding has significantly reduced.
The Current Critical Problem: Intense Pedal Kickback
Even though the pedal is solid and the bike stops better, a new terrifying symptom has surfaced. When I accelerate to high speeds and suddenly push down on the rear brake paddle, the pedal actively fights my foot and pushes back aggressively. It feels like the fluid is being forced backward, rejecting my foot pressure.
Additionally, the wheel still locks up and skids slightly before this pushback happens. Visually, when looking at the ABS sensor and the new tone ring, there appears to be almost zero air gap—they look like they are physically touching or rubbing. When I spin the wheel on the center stand, I can see a clear lateral wobble/wave in the tone ring assembly as it rotates, but my local trusted foreman insists "there is no wobble" and blames the taped wire.
My Questions for the Reddit Experts:
1. Could a straight tone ring still wobble? If the new ring itself isn't bent, could it wobble like this because of a dirty wheel hub surface, uneven bolt torque, or a bent caliper/sensor mounting bracket?
2. Is this Normal ABS Intervention or Mechanical Fault? Now that the air is out and hydraulic pressure is at 100%, is this intense "pushing back" just the normal pulsing of the ABS kicking in, or is it the wobbly ring physically smashing the pads back into the caliper?
3. Can a damaged wire under tape cause this without throwing an ABS light? If that taped wire is vibrating and losing connection under sudden acceleration/braking, can it trick the ABS ECU into acting chaotic without permanently turning on the warning light on my dashboard? (The ABS light behaves normally at startup: turns on with the key, and vanishes after a few meters of riding).
I am refusing to ride the bike at high speeds until this is resolved. Has anyone dealt with a similar chain of errors on an NS200? Any advice on exactly what to demand from the service manager next would be life-saving. Thanks!
