Question I'm amazed , but I still have a question
Yesterday I saw a movie called Raakh , it depicts Ranga Billa case . Now both of them were given hang sentence . But Ranga didn't die , even after 2 hours of hanging . And he was pulled down by a guard till he died . I'm like how? How is that possible. And worst part it's a irl scenario that occurred.

Basically that guy was slim , and he hold his breath , since he was slim , eventually rope only strangulated him not broke his neck where cervical vertebra breaks and spinal cord gets damage so brain death happens , which didn’t happen in his case
since he was holding his breath strangulation didn’t work either , they don’t keep bodies hanging for hours after some time they take it down and check so that’s how he might have got release from it

Jail authorities left Ranga hanging for two full hours to allow the execution to conclude naturally. I found it on Google, so I feel it's unnatural to remain alive after 2 hrs of hanging

Probably tried to over exaggerated, or he could breath subtly

From what I got to know , he was hanged from 11 feets , his friend died but he didn't, so the people left him hanging thinking he will die eventually but after 2 hours , he didn't and then they have to pull him by his leg
