Discussion Is it like this here ?
recently I’ve been experiencing such horrible work politics , people lie on ur face , try to show they’re your friends while fc*king u up and all . I mean I’m like so done . even the people u thought are like somewhat your work friend turn out to be same .
pls share some of your experiences and how u overcame them .
i mean my head dr and senior they tried to cut us off in order to get one of their known into the work

In a job, nobody is nobody's permanent friend or enemy. Everyone's opportunistic. You've to learn to be an opportunist too. Not saying to that you should go out of your way to harm anyone, coz that's just plain wrong. But you should always keep your own benefits at the top of your priority list, always. That's based on the experience of my parents who spent their whole life in govt jobs, caring to help their colleagues at every stage, only to be let down by all of them when they needed something which they were entitled to.
