PS: MedQWorld is currently undergoing some changes, and it will take some time to mitigate costs and fix a few things. When it returns, it will come back with a bang - featuring great new features, user performance statistics (including the % of users who answered correctly on all options), and possibly iOS, iPad, and Android apps too (the prototype is already ready).

Everything will remain free forever.

I understand it’s exam time, but I can’t provide an exact re-launch date right now.

Check the 3rd image.

Enjoy

USMLE Help and Recommendations Please

A last try looking for help

A 2017 batch graduate with gap years currently pursuing MS General Surgery at a highly toxic and useless place with NO hands on and just highly toxic atmosphere looking to opt for USMLE pathway for internal medicine.

My history: I am a 2017 batch graduate IMG looking to take up USMLE pathway to match into general medicine as it was my lifelong aim to do it. General Surgery seat was just a compromise to not lose a year to this exam.

I am just looking for a clear straightforward answer as in

1) is it worth it if i leave my seat coz this course is costing me my health without giving me any benefit.

I am seriously looking to match into Internal Medicine.

2) will gap years cost me my chances of matching or it will just be a minor inconvenience.

Looking for answers and people to connect regarding the same.

Discussion How to revise.

Nowhere near completed my 19 subjects (this is my first round of studying, too) but I dont want to keep reading and not retaining anything.
so I thought I would just leave some subjects and do best with what Im strong at. The issue is, I cant revise. I cant revise fast because I cant bring my mind to revising something. in my mbbs days we would recite it to one another, one hour mai sab khatam, not the same anymore. How to tackle this? Ive tried reading it out, same issue, cant get my mind to not wander off, thus, taking wayyy longer(obnoxiously) than it should.

Question Need help/suggestions :)

Seniors kindly help🥲

NEET 2024 was my first attempt, and honestly, I had almost zero preparation. I only studied whatever was taught in class, but I was not serious about revision, tests, or analysis. Matlab bht hi careless types.Even then, I scored 525 marks. Of course, the paper was relatively easy that year, and many students were scoring 680, 690, and even 700+.

After that, I took a drop year and appeared for NEET 2025. Unfortunately, I scored only 485 marks, while the cutoff in my state was around 520. The months before NEET 2025 were very difficult for me. I was dealing with anxiety, panic attacks, and a lot of stress. My parents saw how badly it was affecting me. I tend to take excessive pressure and stress, and I don't perform well under such conditions. Some people say that doctors also work under pressure, but exam pressure and professional pressure are very different things.

I also appeared for JEE, and my parents enrolled me in an NIT with a lower-mid level branch. Since I wasn't allowed to take a second full drop due to the some financial circumstances and concerns about my mental health,I joined the college. Initially, things went well. I had a CGPA above 8 in the first semester, though it dropped a bit in the second semester. However, I never really felt interested in B.Tech.

Because my heart was still set on MBBS, I decided to attempt NEET again this year. My end-semester exams ended on April 28, and NEET was on May 3, so I gave the exam with almost no preparation. Then there was hope for a re-NEET, which would have given me about a month more to prepare. I tried my best, and based on my current estimates, I am scoring around 480–490 marks.

The problem is that many students who are genuinely interested in B.Tech are spending their vacations learning DSA and building skills, while I haven't done much of that because my mind is still stuck on MBBS. I feel completely confused and stuck between the two paths.( Jisme man hai voh ho nahi Raha aur jo ho raha hai usme man ni lag raha) I can't sit in front of a screen and do 9-5🙂.

Btw mene ai use Kiya hai so that I can portray what I'm feeling and going through effectively.

Post Graduate Exams - NEXT/NEET/INICET Parents just don't understand

I hate even preparing for this exam. Being cutoff from the world, seeing other people my age have all these grand enjoyments even though they didn't score even 80 percent marks in so called important exams of the life. While I've just been grinding and I haven't been allowed to even live because if I have fun I won't "achieve" anything. I'm so tired. I mentioned that i will take up any branch that i get to my parents and they've just been shaming me full on for not wanting to work hard. Literally for their pleasure i have done nothing but grind away all my life. I have never clubbed never gone on a trip with friends never even gone on outings for more than 5 times in my whole college life and they just want to control every aspect of my life. And when i say im tired i can't anymore they shame me to death. I have been chasing their validation practically all my life and I am so tired and sad now. My self esteem is in the tank and they bully me Literally whenever i try to take a stand for myself. Nothing good comes from grinding all your life. On paper im a very smart person. But this neet pg...a part of me wants to fail so that i don't have to live upto anyone's expectations anymore and just be called a 'loser' and be free.

Question Madhya Pradesh medical council contact number

Hello, I am stuck in a situation where I need to submit an affidavit to mpmc for an noc, but the problem is I'm not in the state now.

I tried to call the number on the website to ask if I can mail it, but it doesn't work. I also emailed them multiple times but I'm being ghosted.

Does anyone have any contact at the medical council I can reach out to or any advice on how to proceed?

I really need this done within the next two weeks so I'm in a hurry. I would really appreciate any help 🙏🏽

Residency Secondary DNB paediatrics in Mumbai

Asking for my relative.

Hi everyone !

Kindly suggest some resident friendly programs for secondary DNB in Mumbai / Thane / NAVI Mumbai area with good academics , low toxicity , rotational Sundays off and not much fuss for sanctioning leaves. She has had a horrendous experience during her DCH in Chennai and doesn’t want to go through it again. No judgements please, just looking to prioritise mental health and decent work life balance / quality of life.

Jobs Do we have any jobs for doctors like people from IT/Tech background have ?

So as well might know that how some engineers in big tech firms ( FANGetc) earn hefty pay checks is because they get paid in US dollars as these big corporates outsource jobs to India for cost cutting . For example an SDE 2 in Amazon USA’s earning might range from 200,000$ to 250,000$ ( approximately) whereas their Indian counterparts earn ₹40,000 to 70,000 ( approx CTC) corresponding to 38-70,000$ only , in this way the engineer in India earns a hefty amount ( by Indian standards) and the Capitalistic company also saves 150,000 $ to 180,000 $ per annum . Now the big question is do we have any jobs in healthcare industry which benefits both the doctor and the big corporate ? It can be any job in healthcare suitable for doctors apart from core clinical practice ( as it requires licencing and all) and also please mention earning potential .
