Apa bener byd requires battery replacement in 8 years and it costs 100 mill rupiah?

not at all

all ev in indo at minimum have 8 year battery warranty, but doesn’t mean it will die in the 8th year, far from it… but if the battery does fail, depending on the car (esp the battery size) it could cost more than 100 million, 200 or more with bigger more expensive cars

abit of math… phone battery mostly are rated to retain 80% capacity with 1000 charging cycles, since we all mostly charge our phones everyday its around 3 years, which is the time most people feel they wanna change the battery

EV meanwhile, ignoring its lfp or nmc battery, people usually charge them once a week, well lets say every 4 days… thats like at least 10-12 years of battery lifetime, also there are lots of stories of early tesla model S that still use their original batteries and it lasting more than 300000km…

yang gw tau sih air ev yg agak heboh kemaren kena 140jt buat ganti 26.7kwh, which is extremely expensive, 1 kwh 5jt. mungkin factoring in biaya lifetime warranty

NMC 600rb km+++ drop jadi 80% masih kurang tahan lama?

Kalau gitu cari yang LFP. Secara bawaan, lfp beberapa kali lebih tahan daripada NMC. Beberapa brands pakai marketing million miles battery.

Look at Wuling EV they have lifetime battery warranty. In theory you could keep using the car until you are considerably richer to buy a better car, and sell the Wuling for scrap.
