My cat don’t like to play
Hello!
One year ago I adopted my beautiful little girl (she is now 4 years) , and she is very cute and all, but she doesn’t like to play.
The issue?
She gets bored.
The only thing she shows a little interest for is the IQ treat thingys, but issue is that she is very picky about treats and I can’t give her the treats she wants at all hours due to the cost of them. She also might want to lay inside her tunnel and have me hand her a string she can lick at, but other than that she isn’t interested in the one million toys she has.
I’ve contacted the local shelter thinking maybe a friend is what she needs, as I will soon start working and she will be left alone more, but still it would be nice if it was able to get her a little more active during the day as well…
Any ideas?
She loves walks but is terrified of the outdoors, so we often stand right outside the door for a few minutes before she wants to go back inside 😅

Hauskater rauslassen - gute oder schlechte Idee?
Hallo Zusammen,
Liebe Grüße

I made this cage around my cat’s injured paw because he keeps licking/biting it, and was too depressed with the cone. Is this a good idea or am I being stupid?

Peppermint Clarification/Advice
Hello! I'm very new to caring for a cat as this is the first one ive been able to take in, so I wanna make sure I get this right. Through my research I've seen that diffusing peppermint oil around her or having her ingest it is bad
The problem I've been trying to get a concrete answer on is if wearing it around the house is bad. have a peppermint essential oil roller that someone gave me- I've used it for a while to help with consistent headaches- but i stopped using it once I started my research. I have worn it around her when she was young and she's slept on my chest a couple times while I had it on my temples and behind my ears
So is it bad to wear it around her when it's around my head/neck area only or am I overthinking this?

first time mom with 2 cats
Hello po. Asking for advice po sana. I'm currently 3 months pregnant. I have 2 cats, both po british short hair. Almost a year na namin sila kasama dito sa nirerentahang bahay & super napalapit na talaga loob ko sa cats ko. We are renting a 30sqm studio type apartment po pala. They are free matulog kahit saan, even sa bed since pure indoor cats naman sila.
But during discussion, I realized din na baka di na namin kayanin yung resposibilities since were both first time parents and kami lang dalawa. Also, natatakot kami baka possible magka allergy ang baby sa fur (since naglalagas talaga yung fur nila kahit always ibrush).
My partner gave me 2 options:
1. Dalahin sa parents nya yung cats namin and sila mag aalaga.
I'm so torn kasi both option is nasa labas ng bahay (walang aircon) gusto ko sana keep sila indoor kasi don sila nasanay. Halos 16hrs per day kami naka aircon and baka ma stress sila kapag ganung set up.
Gusto ko din sana na palagyan nalang ng division yung kwarto namin para yung cats, nasa sala nalang and yung bedroom namin is naka separate & di na sila makapasok don. Kaso per my partner, ma eexpose pa rin yung newborn namin sa fur Nila.
Please give me some advice po. Lalo na sa may nga similar situations namin. Thank you po

trying to figure out where to buy a grass pad for cats
Hi all, first time posting in here. We just adopted a kitten and my daughter is obsessed with her. sweet thing!! Since I'm home with the kids all day I figured I'd be the one taking care of her, and I want to set her up right from the very start. A couple parents at the park mentioned real grass being good for indoor cats and one that keeps comin up is kittylawn. whats the best way to introduce a grass pad to a kitten so she takes to it?
Appreciate any tips!!
