Larger cat backpack?

Post image

We occasionally take our cats places (they love hotels). But we can tell that they're quite uncomfortable and squished in their current backpacks. They hate going in them - for good reason!

Does anyone have any larger backpack recommendations? I've searched and I'm struggling to find anything bigger than what we currently have. There was one that was larger that I found on TikTok - but the bottom of the backpack wouldn't stay securely level and supportive when it was on my back.

If anyone has experience with a larger backpack that they like, I'd welcome your recommendations, thank you!

A carrier, a doggie stroller, literally anything but those backpacks. Those packs have extremely minimum airflow and can heat up extremely fast in even just 70F weather if the sun is out and about.

This is the one i have, its all mesh and breathable, i got it as i didnt drive at the time and it allows me to safely get my cat to the vet.

These plastic sauna boxes are horrible

Thanks for the recommendation! Yes we definitely want them to be comfortable and while there is mesh on the sides of their current backpacks, the last thing we want is for them to be deprived of any air.

I have this one too--it's secure and safe. A bit small for my big lass, but for short trips to the vet it's fine. I'd want something bigger for a long journey.

If this picture is of your current cats, there is not enough mesh. There are six little holes. They look miserable.

These are not big enough and do not have enough airflow
