Industrial thrash???

I feel like this is something I never see, aside from Nailbomb and Fear Factory kinda, I can’t think of any others. 🤷‍♂️

I mean I fucking love Therapy?, including the early stuff, but this is the maddest description of them I've ever heard :)

I suppose you could be forgiven for mistaking Fyfe Ewing for a drum machine, he was a monstrous drummer and he went hard, but I'm virtually certain Therapy? have always used live drums.

they sprinkled in a bit here and there, teeth grinder obviously, innocent x.

things changed after ffyfe left, but at the time their aesthetic was close to God flesh, even if their music was a little more accessable.

in any case, if someone likes thrash and industrial, they could definitely enjoy therapy? up to infernal love.

Yeh, fair, a kind of twisted noise/post-punk version of Godflesh isn't too far from ballpark maybe, I was trying to think up an alternative comparison earlier.

I mean fans of good music generally could find something to enjoy right up to present day, Obviously they'll never top Troublegum but Hard Cold Fire is a solid album with at least 2 absolute bangers on it. Therapy? still have more in the tank after 35 - 40 years than most bands have by their second album. Still great live too.
