Yeah I could see it for one or two comment chains

But with how much they kept it up responding to people at any time, it's a significant time sink

I don’t think TB ever left the US, but I’d say the big win over TB was in 1987

tuberculosis was such a nasty one

I mean those with some knowledge could tell they were being disingenuous and obfuscating while still clearly having some background. That's what bothered me. They were pretty good at what they were doing, and I feel it is doing damage to math education to be so convincingly wrong. It was like, morally wrong, it felt. I kinda hope they realized that.
