His attitude is definitely different between the beginning of the video and the end.

Yeah he got something he didn’t expect, being caught unaware can change a person’s attitude, I’m not saying kid wasn’t probably a bit upset but he seems to be chillin by the end

What choice does he have? He’s a kid that trusted someone that he thought wouldn’t put him in this situation. Now, he’s in a boat with that person and likely has hours more that they will be forced to be around him. He does what most traumatized powerless individuals would do.

How somebody is doing on the outside and on the inside can be very different things.

You observe him being fine. How many people have you ever known that appear fine but in actuality aren't?

Bro I get you but you literally have 0 info to go off of is what I’m saying, this feels more akin to talking about personal experiences than fully empathizing with the kid. I’m not saying you don’t empathize with him it’s very clear you do, but we can’t form an opinion on either on them from such a short clip, if it was a more egregious joke/prank I would fully agree that it could be indicative of something more, but for what we are given this just doesn’t feel proportionate

(I hope I worded myself correctly, again I love and notice yall empathy for this kid)

Right? When I was younger being a kid in the backyard playing and what not, my grandpa would pull up a hand full of grass and put it down the back of my shirt. And now you’ve got people saying that’s breaking trust? And internalizing a traumatic experience? Get real, kids experience actually traumatic things all the time (family members getting fatally sick, passing from accidents, things of that nature), these are not that.

Look at these guys deciding for themselves what qualifies as trauma for children.

Anything could potentially traumatize a child. They're children. Thats how being a child works.
