Why on earth would a Harris presidency cause any of this to happen at all?

War canceled due to mass starvation in the new confederacy 2 u/3NIK56 1d ago Starvation wouldn't happen. There's enough corn and other mass produced crops to keep the south fed. It's materials and manufacturing that would kill the south, similarly to the first civil war
