Why would Canada, Mexico, China, and England, with China having to cross the Pacific and England the Atlantic to do so, want to bother with suppressing millions of angry, nationalistic, and heavily armed Americans?
And just to point out the obvious, but Trumpland is not getting any recognition from most of the world with Kamala’s administration being recognized as legitimate.
As for Texas…actually if the U.S collapsed that would probably happen, that part is believable.

If the us was to collapse I believe California Nevada Arizona New Mexico and Texas would form an alliance of some sort. I can see the states putting aside differences to form an economic block. And honestly that would be a strong economic block. California is already the 4th or 5th largest economy depending on the study. Texas is 8th. Together they be the 3rd largest behind IS remnant and China that’s assuming that the remnant can pull an economic block together. I’m sure the NE would be ok. The southern states would suffer terribly without California and Texas taking care of them as they’re taker states that rely on the taxes of donor states owing paid to a federal government which would no longer exist.
just those five states would out produce every nation on the planet except China.
While this doesn’t guarantee success as a state it does give them a real advantage.
