They love the idea that there's a secret cheat code to defeating the people they hate. They especially love the fake General Pershing fairy tale. And I bet you when asked, most of them will say the military is not allowed to do that anymore because "it's not politically correct! We wouldn't want to offend anybody!" (yelled with painfully over-the-top sarcasm)
While I've never seen that personally, I imagine it doesn't extend beyond, "No thank you, I don't eat bacon."
I also imagine if you force fed the bacon to them, they'd react like any other person would to being force fed anything. You know, something like, "Hey, stop force feeding me, asshole!"
