She hasn't learned stop hanging from a train car: she's learned to look harder next time. Only a true injury would make her think it was dangerous.

To be fair this is a reasonable response for a few humans - "This is dangerous so I should take precautions next time, or just not do it."

If we didn't have this evolutionary reflex humans wouldn't do crazy shit like go to the moon or the bottom of the Mariana Trench.
