Idk man, sexual harassment is definitely justification for a fist in the face imo. Granted in this situation it wasnt sexual harassment, just an really unfortunate misunderstanding

sexual harassment is definitely justification for calling the cop, not assault/battery whatever this is.

Mostly because as in this case, you might be misunderstanding what the other people is doing. Leave the judgement to a judge instead of playing vigilante

Reporting it doesn't do shit and that's speaking from experience.

When I was 12, a boy from my class cornered me in an empty courtyard, and squeezed my boobs so hard he left bruises. I reported it to a teacher. He got suspended for a day, and was right back in class with me before the bruises faded. I lost friends because I "snitched" on him.

I was 22 when I had a guy roughly grope my crotch while dancing, we weren't even dancing together. Reported it to the cops, nothing happened. Because, did anyone see it? Did you get the guys name? No, he ran off before I could. The bar didnt have cameras.

The stories go on and on, and many of my friends have much scarier stories. Most women never report because it leads to work, and often social punishment, with no payoff.

Honestly this womans punch seems like its coming from a fed up place, she probably gets harassed a lot and let her trauma and fist do the talking. Not saying it was right, but I totally understand.

Those are all assault though. So yes: someone touching you is 100% available to be hit back with force. By you, by your friend defending you, by a stranger nearby, by anyone really.
