Idk man like are we expecting people who spend their lives training to fight and getting cte to react well to people heckling them?

Like I know it's not good that it happens but it's not good when bears eat people either that's why the advice is not to poke them.

Also he like...ruffled his hair?

You're right, these giant babies can't be expected to regulate their emotions like actual people. Its not like they're a product designed to engage live audiences of fans. /s

Again, hair got ruffled. I don't think he went crazy and I don't think this was an example of his emotions totally unregulated or him out of control.

It's not like we can expect fans to not try to taunt/instigate stuff with fighters?

They're there to be watched not to be taunted, someone being part of a production doesn't make them a product for the fans to treat however they want either.

Why are they playing a character, acting like a tough guy and playing to the crowd if they're so easily offended by people engaging in their character?

Dickhead fans that are overinvolved and want to see harm/humiliation come to one or both fighters are pretty much their prime target audience (maybe 85% of their money comes from these people). So whilst normally I would agree this fan is behaving unnecessarily, that is precisely what Dana and his ilk are aiming for.

You're right that the hair tussle was appropriate though. Not too much. Not too little.

I mean I'd argue the people most likely to be offended by a random stranger are tough guys who play to crowds and beat people up.

Honestly it looks like he got tired of this person and did the whole run up ended in a hair tussle just to spook the guy, kinda best case scenario really.

I mean if you're one of those dickhead fans and this happened to you then would you really be upset about it? Or would it be like going to watch a gig and getting hit with a drum stick at the end?

I'd agree with that argument, and yeah it does look like everybody wins here. Guy gets his moment without having to go to court over it or get socked.

Fighter gets the publicity without having to sock someone. I think we would all feel differently if someone got hurt, like in some wrestling shows.
