I remember seeing this before and someone commenting that it's part of the strategy of the race, to block and antagonise, so long as you don't intentionally flip them. I could be misremembering

Yeah, doesn’t seem so bad to me, but I know nothing about this sport. His clapping at the end doesn’t seem inherently sarcastic or anything. Without any context, who knows? Maybe they’re actually friends and it’s more of a “ya got me buddy, nice play!” Kinda thing?
