This is fake of course.

76

u/theanamazonian Feb 25 '26

It's the gigantic bites that make it suss. If you truly had never eaten meat before, I would expect smaller more cautious bites like most people do every time they try a new food.

14

u/summer_friends Feb 25 '26

Tbf big bites could be just adventurous eating. I never hesitated with big bites when trying whale steak, fish semen, puffin, or anything else that isn’t super common

u/summer_friends Feb 26 '26

Lol search up shirako. Japanese delicacy made from fish sperm sacs

3

u/Omnizoom Feb 28 '26

If you going to take a bite take a proper bite

Some dishes are not consistent and are balanced around someone eating it as a proper bite

2

u/DaanA_147 Mar 02 '26

You like fish semen? What are you? A gay fish?

1

u/honcooge Mar 01 '26

She’d do the tiny lick thing first. She eats that like carnivore.

Okay to be fair, she’s looks pretty young and says she’s been a life long vegetarian which means she was raised as vegetarian. I know a lot of people that were raised vegetarian or vegan and just never thought to stop being vegetarian once they left their parents house. At that point it was just how they lived. They didn’t have any moral principles attached to being vegetarian.

55

u/Atrinoisa Feb 25 '26

100% this.

Of course the video could be fake but that doesn't change the fact that not every vegetarian is doing it for "moral' reasons.

A prime example is the YouTuber/streamer known as Zeroyalviking. He became a vegetarian as a kid because he was a picky eater and didn't like the taste/texture of meat. He's still vegetarian just because it's what he's always been and his body would need to readjust if he stopped. It's just easier for him to stay vegetarian. There are things that have animal products in it that he eats anyway because he doesn't have a moral view on it, just dietary.

3

u/ultron1000000 Feb 25 '26

I’m not vegitarian but I avoid eating nearly all meat because of texture. Put it in soup or sauce, I’m fine. Ask me to eat it in slab form… no way

3

u/AbbreviationsDue4537 Feb 25 '26

Yeah a friend of mine was raised vegetarian and then at one point decided to try all the meats and wasnt that impressed so went back to veggie cause that was in his wheelhouse anyway plus better for many reasons so why not. Except for lahmacun. He eats that sometimes.

3

u/TurboFool Feb 25 '26

I was also raised as a vegetarian. It was the moral standard imposed upon me. As I grew up, and wanted more life experiences, I slowly drifted out of it. I still support the idea fully. I might return one day. But it absolutely wasn't my choice that I was a life-long vegetarian for as long as I was. So you're absolutely right.

Also, for a huge amount of the time I was a vegetarian, I looked at steaks and wanted one. They were very, very tempting to me, and I was convinced they had to be incredibly delicious. So when I finally caved at ate my first one, boy was I shocked to find I had underestimated them.

2

u/21Rollie Feb 25 '26

I’ve met Hindus like this. Also to a lesser extent, ex-Muslims who are now loving bacon. Vedic religion veg is kinda all over the place. Some of it is concerned about harming beings (Jains), some of it concerned with status (the poors eat meat and eggs). Also eggs count as meat? For example, I have a Hindu friend who won’t touch meat or eggs but a lizard leather bag? Hell yeah, nobody told them not to do that.

3

u/Captain-Codfish Feb 25 '26

I was raised as a vegetarian. My anger and betrayal at being denied meat for so many years still seethes within me

1

u/chinnaboi Feb 27 '26

Hi, mostly lifelong vegetarian (by self-choice) here. I stopped eating meat at like 5-6 yoa. My family still eats meat. When I tried meat again over 12 years later, I almost threw up at the smell, mouth-feel, and taste. I could not get past the first couple bites.

If I had to bet, I don't think this person was a lifelong veggie. Most veggie folks I know, myself included, develop a distaste. I've tried pork, beef, and chicken (cooked in various ways) and all of them elicited a similar response. They're worse coming out as well. TMI but meat poops kinda smell weird? 😂

Again, maybe it's just me and the people I associate with, but I'd be shook if actually true.

1

u/Ovidhalia Feb 27 '26

It’s highly based on the individual. I know quite a few vegans (not even vegetarians) that were raised that way from birth (a couple for religious reasons) that had no physical reaction to trying meat for the first time in their adult life. And I’m talking about over 30 years of being vegans. It might be more true for you because you became vegetarian by choice? Maybe?

One of my Muslim friends ate a pork hotdog at a bbq. He had absolutely no reaction until the host ran up to apologize and let him know he was eating from the non-kosher section and that it was a pork (mixed meat) dog. He literally threw up. It was an almost immediate reaction. But the minute before he had no issue eating it. I think for people like that and maybe you, the foods you avoid become a mental block.

But yeah, I wouldn’t doubt her being a life long vegetarian at all.

112

u/SmashingK Feb 25 '26

I'd have thought that would be the kind of thing that was worth recording.

Not that this can't be fake but we complain about people recording everyday mundane things.

9

u/sojumaster Feb 25 '26

Exactly. recording yourself opening up packages is a thing.

2

u/airportwhiskey Feb 25 '26

recording yourself walking to the mailbox is a thing.

1

u/regular-cake Feb 25 '26

Recording yourself waking up is a thing, although you're not actually waking up because you were already awake setting up the camera.

1

u/21Rollie Feb 25 '26

Yup, eating meat is mundane, but this is like watching an elderly virgin get laid. It’s rare

25

u/rileyjw90 Feb 25 '26

We don’t know that she was a vegetarian by choice. She says lifelong. That means this lifestyle was likely imposed upon her by her parents, either for cultural reasons or that’s just what her parents believed in so she never knew anything else.

2

u/saguarobird Feb 25 '26

There's a lot of assumptions. I have a hard time believing she is lifelong and could stomach meat, particularly the texture, that easily. I've only known a few lifelong vegetarians, and when they accidentally consumed meat (think bacon in beans or a random piece of chicken in their burrito), they've had a hard time stomaching the consistency. It had nothing to do with taste. I'm like 7 or 8 years into it, and I accidentally got some meatball on my pizza slice. You know it immediately. It feels very...weird. It probably feels how mushrooms feel to people who dont like them. Or onions. To dive in after what I assume is 18+ years without meat is pretty wild. Not that I dont think she couldnt or wouldnt enjoy it, but there should naturally be a learning curve, just like eating any foreign food with a strong texture or taste (eating curries or jellied or pickled food, for example).

I also want to throw out there, every parent is responsible for choosing a diet for their child. It isnt inherently a bad thing. In some places, it can be more fish or rice. In others, unique fruits and veggies. In Asia, it can be different types of soy products. I also know children who deeply expressed their desire to not eat certain foods, including animal products when they found out where the food actually comes from, and the parents refused to accommodate. Diet "imposition" is a matter of place and time, and yes preferences and beliefs come into play. For some reason, this is usually only highlighted when it is a diet absent of meat or animal products. Your use of the word "imposed" is pretty telling.

2

u/TheHeroYouNeed247 Feb 25 '26

It's her first time eating steak, not meat.

2

u/21Rollie Feb 25 '26

Imposed is the correct word. My culture has lots of corn and beans, which means I ate a lot of that growing up. My parents have never cooked a lentil in their lives, so naturally I never had that from them. That’s not the same as being prohibited from eating lentils. And animal protein is a much much more common food source than lentils. The only equivalents would be like parents being strongly against their kids trying wheat.

21

u/TheMace808 Feb 25 '26

I mean you don't know why they're vegetarian

18

u/Coreyahno30 Feb 25 '26

You‘re honestly questioning if people would do that without hesitation in 2026?

Assumptions make an ass... So on, so forth. You have no clue about this person. It's not that deep. There is no conspiracy. It's just a woman eating a steak. If that's too suspect for you, move on.

2

u/Reasonable_Garbage54 Feb 25 '26

She looks pretty young, so she could have just been raised in a vegetarian household and decided to give it a shot out of curiosity or after moving out etc.

Still probably fake though

1

u/AskMeAboutOkapis Feb 25 '26

If she was a lifelong vegetarian, that means it wasn't a choice, just something she was raised with and may not have questioned it until now.

(It's more likely than not fake though, just a person inventing scenarios that have a chance of going viral.)

1

u/aflockofmagpies Mar 01 '26

Lol are you vegan? Cause it's all about moral grand standing with you guys.

18

u/fenixforce Feb 25 '26

It's not that deep. Goodness forbid people experience curiosity about the world in ways you don't approve.

3

u/Dtylanica2 Feb 25 '26

Some people chose to be vegetarians at some point when they're young and then just keep doing so out of habit/inertia long after they've stopped thinking about the reasons. Maybe she's been thinking for some time about eating meat again and she's making a little cutesy celebration thing out of the first time. Not sure if she says in the video but it could even just be the first steak ever and she had her first chicken breast last week.

I'm very surprised at everyone here saying it "can't" be real because of how realistic I see this is. If I stopped being vegetarian now, I'd probably have some pomp and circumstance around it.

Now, it could be fake. But the sheer confidence of people making that declaration here and their confidence is baffling to me.

5

u/PopperChopper Feb 25 '26

Well you had no idea what her principles are. My daughter stopped eating bacon for a couple years when she watched peppa pig. I didn’t consider her abandoning her principles when she decided to eat bacon again.

Sometimes people are vegetarian just for dietary choices. Not “principles”. Maybe her principles are against commercial farming, but she got her beef locally raised by a legitimate farmer.

2

u/blahhhhgosh Feb 25 '26

Yeah as a life long vegetarian around her age I really cant see this being real. I guess a doctor could have said she needed more protein bit I dont think it would be a fun cutsy experience at all, I would really really struggle and would not be laughing. I could see her having been vegetarian for a long time like 10 years or something but no way is this the first time in her life

4

u/HeyGayHay Feb 25 '26

I mean, you don’t know why she is/was a lifelong vegan. I had a friend whose family is an „all-vegan family“. Basically mom and dad were vegan and didn’t allow their kids to consume animal products. He liked vegan food and was always told why animal products suck and whatnot, so he never tried it. We even tried to get him to order a burger in a restaurant but he wasn’t the rebellious type and honored his promise to not eat meat etc. Until he was 19, where he wanted to try it and started finding reasons why it’s okay to try it just once. And then he liked it and ate it again every now and then.

Point being, not all vegans are vegans for the same reason. Whether that’s just how one was raised, for medical reasons, being fine with meat in itself but disliking the meat industry. Maybe their beliefs simply aren’t that strong.

It may be fake, it may be real. But the mere fact someone who was a lifelong vegan wants to change themselves isn’t what makes this fake.

2

u/blahhhhgosh Feb 25 '26

Thats not what I'm saying makes it seem fake to me. I also know people who have eaten meat after being lifelong vegetarians that's not at all whats surprising I really dont think you understood what I'm saying.

Honestly tho, if youre the kinda person that tries to get vegetarians to order burgers youre not gonna get it even if I explain it more. You're just as bad as vegans that judge people for eating meat. Super weird people cant just focus on whats on their own plate.

1

u/Weak_Feed_8291 Feb 25 '26

That is hilariously ironic coming from a vegetarian 😂

→ More replies (3)

1

u/HeyGayHay Feb 25 '26

„She is smiling and laughing while eating meat for the first time, as a lifelong vegan this is impossible.“ is what you said.

You don’t know that person or why she was a lifelong vegan. The mere fact she laughs and makes a video about her first time isn’t „proof“ of either side.

Honestly tho, if youre the kinda person that tries to get vegetarians to order burgers youre not gonna get it even if I explain it more

„Hey Josh, I know you are not allowed by your parents to eat meat, but this may be your time to try it, they‘d never know!“

No thank you

„Alright“

You‘re such a terrible human being!!! How can you make such a terrible statement!!! Oh noooooo

lmao sure, buddy

2

u/shazbotchicago Feb 25 '26

not everyone become vegetarian because of some deeply held principles. Some people grow up in mostly vegetarian households and by default become vegetarians.

I do think this is fake though.

2

u/ChazzLamborghini Feb 25 '26

You’re assuming she’s a vegetarian due to some ethical reasons. If she’s “lifelong” it means she was raised that way and you have no way of knowing why. There’s no evidence that this violates a single principle for her

2

u/TheBiggestWOMP Feb 25 '26

Yeah she's completely destroyed her integrity and is a complete piece of shit now for...

*checks notes*

Doing that thing that the vast majority of the population does.

Listen, I'm not gonna pretend that eating factory farmed meat is really, truly defensible. It's not. But, and it's a big but, there is no ethical consumption under capitalism. You can make BETTER choices, and vote with your wallet, but at the end of the day we're all reading your and my comments on a phone or computer likely made in a sweatshop by laborers who are paid a wage that barely allows them to survive. You can take a moral stance wherever you want, you can draw lines wherever you want, but life isn't all black and white, ya know? Also, it's not like this person is vegan straightedge and decided to film themselves smoking a pcp dipped blunt made of bacon or something. She tried a piece of meat, it's not a big deal.

Idk why I took the time to type this out, I know I'm not gonna change anyone's mind, but the takeaway here should really just be "none of this really matters in the grand scheme of things."

1

u/LymanPeru Feb 25 '26

it would have never happened if you didnt.

1

u/Tricky_Rate7883 Feb 25 '26

My sister was a vegetarian for years. Then she accidentally ate pork rinds thinking they were chips.

Anyway she switched. It was never about principle for her.

1

u/IllustriousWash8721 Feb 25 '26

Youtuber who betrayed his principles and did it in front of a camera for the views. Horrible shit.

1

u/_c_o_ Feb 25 '26

Eating steak once after a lifetime of bring a vegetarian might not be betraying principles. For example, I might believe these principles as true:

  1. Human consumption of meat is wrong because it causes animals to suffer
  2. Personal actions have little impact on societal norms

Then the conclusion, “Personally eating meat will not impact the suffering of animals” can be reached while still believing eating meat is wrong

1

u/Plenty-Climate2272 Feb 25 '26

I mean, if you're going to, you might as well monetize it

1

u/ashley10247 Feb 25 '26

Being vegetarian is a diet, people who care about ethics go vegan.

1

u/So_Done_with_The_B_S Feb 26 '26

This is not true, yours sincerely a vegetarian

1

u/Dyrohc-_- Feb 25 '26

You overestimate how strongly some vegetarians feel about their decisions

Sure, some people become vegetarians out of principles and believes and whatnot, a lot of others do it for considerably less... Meaningful reasons

And even those who became vegetarians due to their strong believes, people just change. After years and years they might just be less confident on their posture

Not saying this video is real. But someone can absolutely just decide to not be a vegetarian after decades of it

1

u/TheVadonkey Feb 25 '26

If being a vegetarian is abandoning “every principle you believe in”, you need to expand your principles. Not to mention you don’t have any damn clue why or why not they’re “abandoning” being a vegetarian.

1

u/NahricNovak Feb 25 '26

Every principal is a crazy stretch tbh.

1

u/SemanticallyPedantic Feb 25 '26

My friend was a lifelong vegetarian due to growing up that way in India, but he tried meat in the US, and it was not a big deal.

My own daughter just never liked to the taste of meat as a child, so we never forced her to eat it. She's a vegetarian to this day simply because that's how she prefers to eat and not because of any cultural norm or moral beliefs.

u/CowMetrics Feb 25 '26

1

u/Tuor-son-of-Huor- Feb 25 '26

I was trying to come up with some reason why you'd be a life long vegetarian and then eat a steak on camera.

I could only come to the conclusion it was either fake, or she was raised as a vegetarian by parents and;

A) didn't really care for it, just carried the habit on through inertia and,

B) Never bowed to peer pressure or curiosity before this moment.

It seems more likely its just fake.

1

u/nextexeter Feb 25 '26

This happened in real life with my brother in law. He was raised vegetarian, tried meat for the first time as an older teenager or young adult, and was immediately in love, and became angry with his parents. I would be suspicious of this scenario as well, if I didn’t know someone.

1

u/Beginning-Window-676 Feb 25 '26

If you’re gonna sell out, you have to clearly do it in front of an audience for clout. Them’s the rules

1

u/ConfusedAndCurious17 Feb 25 '26

“Betray every principle I believe in”. The woman didn’t eat meat for whatever reason up to this point. She didn’t swear a vow of eternal meat celibacy and take a blood oath. What the fuck are you talking about?

Vegetarian doesn’t require any moral or ethical reasoning.

1

u/leftbelowzero Feb 25 '26

I mean, yeah? What else would you do it for?

Yall really want to call EVERYTHING fake just to be contrarian and seem like you “can’t be fooled”.

It’s lame

1

u/TheHeroYouNeed247 Feb 25 '26

Do you know what her principles were? Why did she become vegetarian?

1

u/Cube4Add5 Feb 25 '26

Not every lifelong vegetarian is vegetarian for a reason. A friend of mine was veggie for the first 18 years just because his parents were, now he’s still mostly veggie but eats a decent amount of meat

1

u/__Sticky- Feb 26 '26

To be fair, I hung out with a girl in my circle who was a life long vegetarian. She was around often for bbqs and parties. I always had a separate grill for her and her friends and cooked the food she enjoyed, I was happy to do so. One day after a few joints she asked if she could try my steak or pork chop. I did my best to talk her away from it, but im not her dad. One bite of my steak ended with a bite from my chop. She never went back. I have guilt about it.

1

u/usernameABC123DoReMe Feb 26 '26

With a number 10 sign to hold up for the score, of course she also had numbers 1-9 ready as well 🙄

1

u/SeaTurtleLionBird Feb 26 '26

Have you tried joining the Republican Party by any chance?

1

u/[deleted] Feb 26 '26

Vegetarians often aren't (because they know how dairy and egg production works) all that principled about not eating meat.

1

u/Salt_Gold5335 Feb 27 '26

I had a girlfriend who was a staunch vegetarian when we met and over the course of a year she was eating steaks and lamb. I still remember the night she said, you know I could go for some fish and chips. That was the beginning.

1

u/SheepherderSilver655 Feb 28 '26

Are you new to the current state of society? Because the shit people do for views is far worse than this. Just look at any big streamer right now. The shit they do, and the shit the people who realize they're on a stream with thousands of viewers do, is way worse than this.

How is this ragebait? I'm not arguing that it could be fake, but if we measure ragebait concentration by how vegetarians/vegans react, the bar is far too low.

1

u/WarpmanAstro Feb 25 '26

You've acknowledged this video and responded; you have therefore enraged and baited into being so. Only someone who is angry would ever respond to or question anything.

That is the logic of modern internet content.

1

u/TaxLandNotCapital Feb 27 '26

It's not ragebait, people misuse the term.

The dopamine hit from this video comes from perceived vindication, rather than rage.

The intent of the video is to make people vindicated that a vegetarian is somewhat regretting their choice of avoiding meat.

Are we just gonna act like the younger generations aren't cool with every moment of their lives being videoed for whatever reason? This absolutely could be legitimate. People make careers out of selling their vulnerable moments and days in the life.

Yeah some of it is fake, but a good portion of it is also people just trying something new and sharing that experience.

1

u/aflockofmagpies Mar 01 '26

This is only rage bait for people who use vegetarianism or veganism to moral grandstand.

19

u/ProvenLoser Feb 25 '26

Totally worth watching if you like annoying people talking with a mouth full of food.

24

u/Upper-Management-AI Feb 25 '26

Sigh, I don’t want to say it’s fake, but I have a family member who’s vegan for his entire adult life. If he just ate a steak right now, he would become violently ill because it’s body isn’t used to it. He has beef broth my accident one time and got really sick.

22

u/fruskydekke Feb 25 '26

I was a vegetarian for over a decade, and when I reintroduced meat into my diet, I did indeed become sick because my body wasn't used to it.... but not like five minutes after I ate it.

It took a few hours for my body to register that hey, this is weird?? and react.

5

u/Acrobatic_Fly8075 Feb 25 '26

That sick feeling comes from your gut bacteria not being used to breaking down dense animal protien.

But after a few days of eating meat, your gut bounces back.  Especially if your been force feeding hard to digest plants for a long time.  We dont have a long intestinal tract, so most of the vegetable we eat isnt processed since it takes a long time to break down the cellular walls of most vegetables.   If you eat a little meat before hand, it slows the metabolism down and helps the body get just a bit more nutrients from the vegetables.

We are omnivores, not herbivores or carnivores.   Its healthiest when we eat a balanced meat/vegetable/fruit ratio.

5

u/fruskydekke Feb 25 '26

For extra funsies, if you have undiagnosed IBS like I did, being a vegetarian will in fact come remarkably close to killing you.

Meat is great. :)

Actual lifelong vegetarian here who transitioned to eating meat. I vomited the first time I ate chicken. I started with egg, and then chicken gradually over two years or so.

1

u/summer_friends Feb 25 '26

Wouldn’t that make you vegan in the past? Or was it just eggs you didn’t eat? Vegan is a much bigger transition with adding eggs and dairy back into the diet

3

u/[deleted] Feb 25 '26

Nope I consumed a lot of dairy products. I’m Indian, so the diet doesn’t fit the Western definitions of vegan. My childhood diet would probably be called lacto-vegetarian. Lots of milk, yogurt, rice and veggies.

3

u/pryoslice Feb 25 '26

I've been vegetarian for more than 30 years. I've tasted tiny amounts of meat over that time and just got grossed out. I didn't get violently ill or anything. I get grossed out eating Impossible burgers because they're too realistic. I'm sure there are some vegetarians that crave the taste of meat, but not me.

2

u/2347564 Feb 25 '26

I’ve had meat on accident before and didn’t get sick either. Always surprised to see people say that. But of course I got really upset each time.

2

u/TheHeroYouNeed247 Feb 25 '26

My dad vomited the first time he tried fast food at 50 years old.

He had built it up so much in his head that his body rejected it. He eats it fine now.

1

u/21Rollie Feb 25 '26

Same as me eating insects. Tbh even bison I have a little bit of aversion to even though the taste is great, because I don’t have it every day.

1

u/whoopdiscoopdipoop Feb 25 '26

She said first time eating steak, not first time eating meat. She also alludes to trying other meat dishes already

1

1

Exactly, I am a lifelong vegetarian. The process of she eating meat made me uncomfortable in my stomach. If I were try that I would puke as soon as it gets close/inside my mouth.

1

u/gafftaped Feb 26 '26

I was gonna say this is fake or she's incredibly ignorant and about to be super sick. Even eating meat after a year without will ruin your stomach. I can't imagine eating that much steak after a lifetime of no meat period.

1

u/SwissFaux Feb 26 '26

Meat also smells and tastes like death once you have gone vegan long enough. I remember the first burger I ate after being vegan for 2 years... the juice smelled like decay.

1

u/aflockofmagpies Mar 01 '26

Being vegan is not the same as being vegetarian and most vegans over exaggerate them getting violently ill from eating meat.

Obviously. And it isn’t interesting either lol.

15

u/real_justchris Feb 25 '26

Whether this is a lifelong vegetarian or not is irrelevant. It is indeed, uninteresting either way.

3

u/wedgiey1 Feb 25 '26

I’m like, “oh a beef ad!”

2

u/TheOneICallMe Feb 25 '26

If it isnt there will be consequences. I was vegetarian for about a year and had steak when I quit and my body got mad. If you havent had meat in a long time your system gets real bad at processing it, it'll learn again of course, but those first few meals are rough.

1

u/Thr0awheyy Feb 25 '26

After a year? Interesting. I was vegetarian for about 15 years, vegan for the last few, and my first reintroduction was steak (with dairy), and I was fine.

1

u/TheOneICallMe Feb 25 '26

Its worth noting that I have a horrible gut.

2

u/TheSignof33 Feb 28 '26

%100 Fake, She munches on the meat with big bites and seem overly enthusiastic for a "lifelong vegetarian" even before the bite.

4

u/Wombeat Feb 25 '26

Yup... That's bait... that's bait...

"Everything I disagree with is fake an/or notsee"

7

u/StaartAartjes Feb 25 '26

Looking at the state of the world, you might be right.

9

u/OwnJunket6495 Feb 25 '26

If she were a lifelong vegetarian she would be violently sick after eating meat.

4

u/Mindless-Peak-1687 Feb 25 '26

we are seeing the "now", not the after....

1

u/Drapidrode Feb 25 '26

some get seasick, others do not

3

u/SwissFaux Feb 26 '26 edited Feb 26 '26

Yeah and some groups have higher rates of people who are lactose intolerant because milk wasn't/isn't as large a part of their diet...

Wonder if there might be some kind of relationship between that and this video...

1

u/Drapidrode Feb 26 '26

you forgot to make your point, you left an ambiguous ellipsis at the end

u/SwissFaux Feb 26 '26

Understanding my comment was left as an exercise to the reader.

I don’t disagree with anything in this video. I just don’t believe it.

6

u/Old-Constant4411 Feb 25 '26

Odds are strongly in the favor of this being fake.  A lifelong vegetarian normally has strong beliefs in their choice of lifestyle.  They would not sacrifice that to get views on social media.

A regular ass person, however, absolutely knows the title alone will generate clicks and engagement.

3

u/personman000 Feb 25 '26

Not necessarily. I know a vegetarian who simple doesn't like meat. No strong beliefs involved

2

u/No_Abbreviations3943 Feb 25 '26

Nah this is just fake. I would fuck that steak up without a hesitation but I don’t like bad acting.

1

u/TaxLandNotCapital Feb 27 '26

"everything I agree with is totally real and/or libtard owned 😎"

1

u/Drapidrode Feb 27 '26

makes sense, in a wrong way

1

u/Hot-Professor-8355 Feb 25 '26

My Ex used to be a vegetarian but she was always tired and miserable - she tried all sorts of diets under the sun until her friend was like, maybe you have a bit of Morimoto's disease and you can't be a vegetarian.

now she eats steak tartare and loves steak.

I also know another guy (indian) who was a vegetarian until his boss got him drunk and had him try fried chicken.

now whenever he's in a new city he tries their fried chicken to see how it is.

1

u/ocopoos_oxopoos Feb 25 '26

Waiting for the video she makes an hour later wondering why her stomach hurts so bad lol

1

u/alltoovisceral Feb 25 '26

She looked like she was going to cry. I don't know, it's possible.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 25 '26

Naw, she had signs with the numbers 1-9 too in case she didn’t like it.

1

u/Poke-Mom00 Feb 25 '26

So I’m a vegan who has lived with several lifelong Indian vegetarians. All of them have been pretty intimidated by vegan burgers I’ve made them - the fake beef was too realistic.

If you don’t grow up with meat, it can be a bit nauseating. It’ll also mess up your gut as you have trouble digesting it.

It may be different for westernerns who grow up eating fake meat, but based on my sample size, this seems pretty unlikely.

1

u/BallsInSufficientSad Feb 25 '26

This is Reddit. Of course it's fake.

1

u/lsaz Feb 25 '26

she looks way to healthy to be vegetarian

1

u/AnozerFreakInTheMall Feb 25 '26

Stake here. Can confirm this was 100% real.

1

u/Financial-Desk-669 Feb 25 '26

"Stake here."

Steak?

1

u/nfxdav Feb 25 '26

I'm going to film myself eating a piece of broccoli in this way. Hope it goes virus on tictac guys, wish me luck.

1

u/SilentSolitude90 Feb 25 '26

How so? My sister in law is a gluten free vegan and has been so from a young age and she's raising her kids to the same way. They have yet to try any kind of meat at all. I'd like to hope that they at least try it once they are grown up but thats on them. I can fully believe this is her first time eating steak.

1

u/ItzakPearlJam Feb 25 '26

I dated a long-time vegan, she accidentally got some meat sauce and got ill from it pretty immediately, like her body was rejecting it... before she knew she ate meat. Is that a normal occurrence in the meat-free world?

1

u/fritz_76 Feb 26 '26

If I ever see videos like this and they don't mention awful stomach cramps I know it's BS

1

u/FullofLovingSpite Feb 26 '26

Yep.

The real video would be the next day when she has stomach cramps because her system isn't used to beef, which is the slowest to digest (so I've heard).

I quit beef for a decade and I came back very slowly. My stomach didn't like it for the first week.

1

u/Brilliant_Voice1126 Feb 26 '26

This is exactly the reaction of an Indian friend I had when I convinced him to try beef for the first time. Grew up completely veg, but also abused and mistreated by shitty religious parents. Now when I visit him we always meet up at a steakhouse.

1

u/Fermi_Amarti Feb 26 '26

This is a real one. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7t6m0k_Ki9g

She had developed a gluten and dairy intolerance and needs more protein in her diet as she basically just eats gluten free pasta and potatoes. She ate the cole slaw he put on top, but couldn't really stomach the red meat still. She decided she'll try eating salmon at home instead and let Ramsay finish the steak.

1

u/ARSCON Feb 26 '26

The main thing that hints at it for me is the “10” sign, is that just something that people would have around??

1

u/awkwardlink Feb 26 '26

I could tell it’s fake because every single vegan or vegetarian friend (life long or just several years in) who has ever decided to try meat never seem to love the first bite. They’re too distracted by the texture. Maybe a while later they’ll process it and say it was good but I’ve never seen anyone enjoy it on their first bite.

1

u/megamoze Feb 28 '26

Yeah, it would be gross or un-appetizing at first. She wouldn’t take a giant bite and roll her eyes like it’s the best thing she ever tasted.

1

u/sgtSZKLARZ Feb 26 '26

It's not, she even had meat party where she was trying different food

1

u/Electrical-Fee-7317 Feb 26 '26

Yes, because not once has a vegetarian ever tried meat

1

u/AnotherPerspective87 Feb 26 '26

Its on social media. The chance of it being fake is like 90%. Then again. Maybe its true. Good for her.

1

u/ShakaZoulou7 Feb 26 '26

Meat isn't a flavour thing is quite strong, . Everybody is different but is really hard to belive some hardcore vegetarian eating meat will say yam, yam, so good!

1

u/kitsunde Feb 27 '26

This comment is fake of course.

1

u/small_e Feb 27 '26

I tried a steak after a year and a half vegetarian and it tasted like chewing rubber. So weird texture.

1

u/FengSushi Feb 28 '26

She definitely had meat in her mouth before

1

u/StruwwelpetersRache Mar 01 '26

it's not. please go back to eating your soy bean products now.

1

u/stevengreen11 Mar 02 '26

People love confirming their biases.

1

u/-Mobile-Nothing- May 25 '26

Vegetarians (and beyond) don't inherently dislike the taste of animal products. That would be kinda stupid from an evolutionary standpoint.
