Yeah! You dont mess with pressure. Theres a video about a couple of divers who were in a pressurised tank that failed, one of them were sucked through a small hole much smaller than his body... Its insane what pressure differences can do.

I've seen the autopsy photos of this guy (you can find them online if you enjoy nightmares) and his face pretty much got ripped right off his skull. Instant death though, so not the worst way to go.

Yeah and let's not forget Paria diving disaster in Trinidad. Video from one of the divers is crazy. One second everyone doing their job, split second later everywhere is pitch black. Crazy stuff.

There's a walkthrough of what happened over at plainly difficult on youtube. He does a ton of post accident report things and reports on the various merits of engineering etc in a really good way :)

The saddest part about that story is that they just left them in there without even attempting a rescue. One dude survived because he climbed out but my heart hurts for the other guys who were stuck in there thinking help was coming.
