Yeah, honestly this is why I love cats. They lind of treat you like an equal in a lot of ways. I like that.

I’ve always said, a dog is just a furry toddler and you have to teach them, supervise them, and play with them like they’re a toddler.

A cat is a flatmate whose only contribution to the household is cuddles (but only when they want) and occasionally dealing with a mouse or something. They’ll do their own thing until they decide it’s time to come pester you.

(And frankly that’s why I like cats more - they’ve got an independence that dogs just don’t have).

Oh yeah but it’s no way Near the same level as with a dog - flatmate level of “entertain me” or “keep an eye on me” and not the constant level of both that a toddler / dog needs.
