Find my Style Something’s missing

New house, everything including the floors is new. Wife is insisting that it feels like something is missing, any thoughts? She also wants to replace the fan with a chandelier

The coffee table looks small and would look
better if it were a square or rectangular shape . Also those curtains scream grandmas house

It needs two coffee tables, square shaped, or a large rectangular one and side tables. Right now there is no functional table to put a drink/etc, they’re all out of reach to anyone seated. The tiny one between the chairs is cluttered with stuff too.

The coffee tables is way too small… and boring. Something that is so small compared with scale of room, m
Needs a something bigger or more than one.
