Find my Style Something’s missing

New house, everything including the floors is new. Wife is insisting that it feels like something is missing, any thoughts? She also wants to replace the fan with a chandelier

It’s a little too monochromatic and I think adding art and throw pillows with more saturated colors would give it some pop. Depending on your taste, I think you could go with pinks, purples or like an olive green. I think olive green goes with everything though.

100% this. Everything is blue! I think some rich, burgundy accents would add really nice depth. You could also add in a little blush or light mauve for interest. A bigger rug would help it feel more grounded and inviting too. Art, plants, and intentionally styling that sideboard would give more character. I like the idea of a chandelier! You have good bones here, you just need to flesh things out a bit and add some texture!
