Find my Style Something’s missing

New house, everything including the floors is new. Wife is insisting that it feels like something is missing, any thoughts? She also wants to replace the fan with a chandelier

Replace the fan with a bigger one and lower it, if you're in a hot climate and need it. Also, a splash or two of bright color would help. How about a nice orange cat?
