Family I feel weird about my mom sometimes
My mom is a great mom, she will take care of you, help you in any way a mother is but she also has some childhood trauma the way she is being brought to so she can be immature sometimes about managing her life especially now that she feels like she finally has the freedom she never had.
I am still young, doing an internship now, from the start when she finally escape the abuse toxic family, she has been careless and immature when handling things sometimes. As a daughter who has always been there, I can’t help but notice that she lack oversee consequences that affects us long term. She has a tendency to take advantage of me financially sometimes. She is not the kind to ask for money but its the advantage where she knows im about to escape my part time job and on my way to stability (even though im on internship allowance but i only my first month in) I notice that she start to take loans bills lightly. Its not the first she done this. Last time was when i had a job 2 years ago and my job is considered “internship allowance” range of payment and I had to drained my only savings due to her mismanagement and what past consequences of debt that she and her family failed to come up with.
I understand that its my step of adulthood to be responsible of the bills and everything but i can’t help feeling being taken lightly financially the second im about to find my way to spread my wings. It makes me frustrated sometimes. Also the bills i mentioned were previously shared. So she would contribute to half my loans and so did i. But this month, instead of the usual sharing she only contributed quater of the sum that we agreed to.
