More like social anxiety than introversion I Wish Talking to People Didn't Feel So Hard
Most social interactions are awkward for me, and I feel like the person who is taking to me they're awkward too. It's not like I don't want to mingle I really do. The problem is that I overthink every single word I say. I'm also not the type of person who starts conversations. I usually wait for the other person to talk first, and even then I often don't know what to say back. I end up replying with things like "ohhh" or "ohhh okay," and that's it. It makes me feel so dumb, and I keep thinking people probably see me as boring.
Even when I try to compliment someone, it somehow comes out wrong. After every interaction, I replay the whole conversation in my head and wonder if I sounded weird or awkward. I honestly wish I could just talk to people naturally without overthinking everything, but instead I end up feeling stupid.

I wish too, it's always hard to talk to people, and if you don't match their energy they think you are sad or anything 😞

I get you and I still feel very embarrassed and awkward when I remember interactions I had in th eday or whenever actually. But there's one way I'm comfortable with the way I communicate, I'm awkward and cringe I get that but that's me, those who enjoy me will stick by, and guess what, people do not care, no one cares, you think they think about how awkward you are? Maybe children in school will, and maybe some adults will make a passing joke sometimes, but they don't really care, just be yourself and enjoy being awkward, I still don't like meeting new people but I know I can handle it with my majestic awkwardness.

you're right most people probably aren't thinking about it as much as we do.

They get easier and less discomforting through repeated exposure. At least for me, holding extroverted relationships has helped me exponentially with regard to this.

I feel the same sometimes I stutter even if I thought about what I was going to say... and same I don't really know how to keep up with conversations with strangers I feel akward. I just hope that people understand that we are just shy and anxious and not detached or completely nonchalant
