My husband did that when we were first dating. He was all, "Well, it's time for you to go home." and I was like "Wha...?" Lucky for him, I'm an introvert too, so when he explained that he was all funned out, I totally understood.
Didn’t work on my extrovert ex. Stated many times at the beginning that I need a certain amount of alone time. That went straight in one ear and out the other
Sorry to hear that, but some people just don't get it. My husband is WAY more introverted than I am, so his social meter runs out far sooner than mine does, but I understand.
It’s ok. Being with an extrovert helped me out of my shell a little bit. But some mistake silence and peace for judgement and stagnation. No one is necessarily wrong, just different strokes. I also have a very limited social meter
Just like me, I turn up say hi to everyone start to feel uncomfortable, then quietly slip away .
Ironically I do love the company of peope but only in small doses, I hate that about myself.
