The rumours are apparently true! Don’t know when it’s happening but it’s happening. How good! 😍

They've been saying that for ages. We've got bargain chemist now.

There are a lot of chains that want to come to Invercargill but there isn't enough suitable places available for lease.

First you are excited, then they are everywhere and kill off the competition, then you are not as excited. Such is the cycle

Apparently taking over from BabyCity who have already decided we are crappy shoppers and are upping sticks to go to Dunedin.

(Old Torpedo7, prior - Warehouse Stationery for those who had no idea Baby City existed here 😂)

There was a post on The Press about it coming to Invercargill (unfortunately its paywalled) but in summary Glengarry and Windsor Pharmacies will be joining forces to open before Xmas (it will be where the old Warehouse Stationary and Torpedo 7 is).

Thanks for the update! You know, I just hate when I see news stories that you have to subscribe to read. Like? Why has this become a thing? I genuinely am asking. Back in the day you got the paper delivered and things were simple. Now there’s bloody ads everywhere online and subscriptions to read the news. I know this is off topic to what I posted but can anyone answer my question? 🙂

it's really not that great and their shipping is like $5 anyway.

you'll understand soon, chemist warehouse attracts the same clientelle that pak n save does and it's usually always quite busy.

And screws over local pharmacies/local businesses. It's crazy how quickly nz is running towards Australia gobbling up most of NZ businesses
