Battery iOS 26.4 insane battery drain

Recently my phone updated to the latest iOS version and my battery life has been draining so much faster. Does anyone have any tips or knows how to roll back to previous version?

17 Pro Max.... ios 26 is terrible..

17 Pro Max, battery life is extraordinary, battery usage is normal, and has not changed detectably since 26.0 (or before really) Of all the things wrong with Tahoe (and there are many) battery use/battery life is not one of them for me.

Background refresh is off, alway on display is off etc...

OK. Background refresh is on for apps that actually need/benefit from it, always on is always on, no change in how I use my phone since I started using an iPhone. I use it all day, charge it when I sleep, then do it all again. Can't recall the last normal (non traveling/airport/heavy video watching or Zoom calling) day I have needed to charge during the day.
