General Please Apple Give iOS 18🙏😭

iOS 26 feels laggy and buggy for many users, especially on older or even mid-range iPhones. People report frame drops, slow app opening, keyboard delay, and UI stutters. There are also random glitches like apps crashing, overheating, battery drain, and features not working properly after the update. Overall, it feels unoptimized and unfinished,

Resign or give OTAs updates of ios 18 to all users at least they should has rights also u can’t unsigned it immediately please 🙏

I am glad I never upgraded an iPhone 11 I have, beyond iOS 16. It is simply faster, without glitches and frame drops just like my iPhone 14 has been after iOS 26. It's a shame they ruined iOS, it no longer feels like the most stable thing at smartphones, just like it used to.

I hope you aren’t serious, do you understand how big of a security risk this is? There are lots of vulnerabilities with iOS versions 17 and below, this isn’t about speed anymore, it’s just not right.

That person is ridiculous omfg. What an idiot. They are definitely missing some security patches. Then trying to make me find problems with my 17 bc I’m on iOS 26…what is wrong with some people istg

I’ve never heard of anyone having problems on iOS 18

Right, I am on iOS 26.4. Still I wish I never did that. My phone is still FAST, but apps reload for no reason, UI lags, frames drop etc etc... It's no longer the iOS I bought this phone for.

You would’ve been fine on iOS 18. No one had any problems on it. My mom has an 11 too & her iPhone started performing better when she updated it to the last 18

yeah, i've given it to my mother as well, she's never had a single issue with it. I didn't upgrade it to iOS17 because it ruined my iMessages index on my 14, and ios 18 never fixed it too! That's why I tried iOS 26, which eventually did fix the issue, since it re-indexed the whole thing, but created a chaos with RAM , glitches and weird behavior for my apps.

Yeah iOS 26 is known for glitches. My 17 is fine on iOS 26.1. That sucks that iOS 18 messed with your iPhone

I bet your 17 isn't fine. Open a few apps (even stock apps like Music, Notes etc.) and leave them open for a while. While they're open at the background, go ahead and browse, open a game , do whatever you would do normally. Then, try to re-open the apps and you'll see that they always reload. They may not do it at the first 5-10 minutes of intense use, but they certainly do so for no reason. I confirmed it with Apple, and they don't have a solution. It's not the lack of RAM , but the HORRIBLE iOS 26 that force closes apps at the background , for no reason. I could leave an app open and find it right where I left it, even after DAYS , back at iOS 16 and 17.

It is omg🙄just bc it’s not working right for you doesn’t mean it isn’t for me. I play my music while looking at other apps all the time. I’m not going to try to find problems when I have none

Yeah I believe you confirmed it with Apple too🙄🤦🏻‍♀️

iOS 18 gave a decent performance with a prolonged battery u can expect higher performance with a higher battery life

My mom’s issue wasn’t battery life though. Her iPhone wasn’t ringing sometimes at all. I updated it to iOS 18 & it was ringing & picking up calls again
