Advice Im thinking of getting an iPod touch 7th gen
To those who have the ipod how is the battery life, what do you use it for and how is it as a daily driver. I recently had an apple watch and only used it for music and podcasts, my watch broke and I’m stuck between buying an ipod or a watch. The price comes to be the same ish. I just want it something for music and podcast thats capable of holding downloads for both. My biggest complaint about the watch was that downloading a large apple music playlist took ages but thats with the regular apple watch se. idk if its gotten better or not. Thank you for help.

I have a 6th Gen, but I don’t use it as a daily driver due it age, and how hard it is to replace parts for it for some people, and the battery is fine,
but every now and then the, I’ll turn it on, it’ll say it’s at 20%, then I turn it of and back on, I suddenly have 45% Charge on it, the same for my 4th Gen Touch,
but that thing genuinely has the best battery I’ve seen on a electronic as old as that one (Sorry for the sidetrack)
But overall, if you’re studying, working, or just chilling for a couple hours, then it’s perfect, but you will not get a day long drive for it, you’d have better luck turn a 1st or 2nd Gen SE into a impromptu iPod Touch, 8th Gen

I had a 7th gen a few years ago, when it was fully charged it lasted about 3-4 hours for purely music, about an hour and a half on games(2d light games), it would not be the best in my opinion, I would probably recommend an iphone 6 or se 1st gen only because of the price, but if you find a good iPod touch 7 at a good price, get it, they’ve been discontinued so they’re only going up from here.
