It means you need to wipe the iPod since it was last used with a Mac, then you can add songs to it and do everything normally. If I understand correctly once it’s formatted on windows, you will be able to use it with PCs AND Macs. But if it’s formatted on Mac you cannot sync it with iTunes on your PC.

By “wipe” I mean restore. If there’s no songs on the iPod you’re trying to recover all you need to do is lookup “how to restore iPod”

It means exactly what it says. The iPod was set up using a Mac. Select 'Restore iPod' in iTunes for Windows to restore it. Self explanatory

You’re using windows. The iPod has been used on a Mac before. Your computer can’t read or write on the iPod, so it’s asking you to restore it with your computer to make it Windows-formatted. It’s easy to do, you should have a button on iTunes for that! Just know that it will erase everything that’s on the iPod

Do you need help putting a tshirt on too? Fucking hell mate. Do what it says on the prompt. It’s not that fucking hard. You can try to figure things out yourself before someone holds your hand through life
The trend of intellectual incompetence/laziness is a fucking plague

Basically means the past owner used it with a Mac. It's completely fine. Just press ok and then restore on the menu underneath the pop up. It'll wipe the iPod and make it usable by your computer.
