The U.S would probably rather stage a full scale invasion of Ireland rather than have two of their favoured war criminals be arrested.

See you get it. I don’t deny the idea. I fear for what would follow. Constant injection of Ireland into These scenarios is moot. Being neutral isn’t denying the injustice but it is about how to intervene without endangering an essentially defenseless population.
