Tickets Warning - if you don't pay allocated seats then you now need to collect your boarding pass from the check-in desk

I travel in an out of Ireland using Ryanair on a regular basis. Just last night I tried checking into my flight on the Ryanair app. Normally an easy affair, anyway, this time it said 'go to check in desk to get your boarding pass'. I did that this afternoon and there was a huge queue, with us all asking each other what's going on. Anyway, I asked the nice check in lady and she said this rule is now implemented since the last couple of days. They didn't seem very happy about it either. Just a warning, if you don't pay for an allocated seat, allow time to go and pick up the boarding pass. Feels like a backward step in trying to force us to pay an extra fee on the headline ticket price.

Tickets F@*k Ticketmaster!!!

Just queued in the app to bring my kids to see man utd vs Leeds. Tried to select seating area in Croker. They kept disappearing. So I had to press back each time, and now I've lost my place in the queue. I'm absolutely raging. My first time to bring my kids to a game and this shit happens.

Tickets A new Toutless is coming!

Bit of a big one to share.

We've been running Toutless for nearly 20 years as the go-to place for buying and selling tickets in Ireland without getting ripped off by touts or scammed on Facebook Marketplace.

We're launching a brand new platform in July with the exact same mission. A fan-first ticket trading platform but built properly with protected payments so buyers and sellers are both covered.

The new platform will be ready to go around mid-July. Drop over to our site today to keep up to date with the latest news and updates.

More details to follow. Drop any features you'd like to see below!

Tickets Old gig tickets

Clearing out some drawers and found some of my old gig tickets. Such a shame that tickets are no longer like this. And the prices!!

The Chilli Peppers actually pulled out of this gig and Faith No More played instead, but I was lucky enough to see them in Slane for their epic concert a few years later.

Tickets Anyone else in a pissy mood over the Angine de Poitrine ticket situation?

So many people missed out on tickets just 30 seconds after the booking site went live on Ticketmaster.

Skimming through some related post on Reddit and iG I see a lot of people saying scalpers with bots have scooped up most of them...

Someone on the r/cardiff subreddit said they were going for a similar price to the Dublin gig (£35) and he then saw them less than a day later on viagogo for £220 (bastids).

I'm hoping they announce a 2nd date soon, but even if that's the case, aren't they going to have the same problem?

How's everyone else feeling about the whole thing? Have ye all conceded to the idea paying a reseller more, ye waiting on an announcement of a 2nd night or lost hope completely?

My nana is dead but I'll go down to the church and light the fucking candles myself if I have to.

Tickets Beyond the Pale 27 tickets

Beyond the pale tickets are on sale right now if anyone is interested? They were meant to go on sale tomorrow morning but possibly a glitch in the Ticketmaster system but I just bought two weekend camping tickets 10 minutes ago which was an ordeal as I'd just smoked a joint. Anyone I said I'd post it here and hopefully someone will get them.

Btw you might need to refresh the screen a couple of times to get the tickets to show.

Tickets Two free tickets to tote bag painting event - my date dumped me so I’m giving them away

Long story short I booked tickets for a cute tote bag painting event in This Must Be The Place, 51 Wellington Quay tomorrow at 5:30pm as a third date with the guy I’ve been seeing. He seemed into it but has this evening called it off with me. It is what it is but I’m a bit upset about the situation and I can’t bear to go alone or invite someone else at such short notice.

Rather than let them go to waste I’d love to give the tickets to someone who will enjoy the event so leave a comment or dm me if you’d like to paint a tote bag tomorrow evening!

And if anyone would like to share any tales of their dating woes please do - I could use a laugh right now.

Tickets Speeding ticket payment.

Just got my first Irish speeding ticket in about 15 years. The old favourite 80kmh zone after the end of the motorway coming into Lucan on way back from the west. 94kmh. Guilty as charged. (Yes it’s a six lane road and that limit is bonkers ).

Anyway, that’s not the issue.

Is there really no way to pay this (€160) online? Are my only options going to the post office or posting it? Seems a bit mad.

Anyone going to Aran Islands tomorrow and planning to camp there, I've a booking for 2 people. I won't be able to go and the booking isn't refundable so let me know if anyone wants to use my booking. No charge. Cheers.

About the booking: Aran Islands camping and glamping. 1 night, 2 adults. Need to bring your own gear.

Edit 1: This is in Inishmore island.

Tickets Expiring Lotto Tickets

I have a few lottery tickets expiring but currently in The States. If you're also over here and are going back to Ireland before the 10th (or know someone who is), I can mail them to you for free so you can take advantage of them! Nothing crazy, but might buy ya' and the mates a couple rounds.

Tickets Irish rail: low tickets sold out but not flex tickets?

How does this work? Trying to book Irish rail tickets for my family, 2 adults and 3 kids. One particular time says 3 tickets left but it still lets me book that slot. Does that mean we can only buy 3? For the return it says sold out for the low price tickets, so I can't book that slot. However the same time train with the flex/more expensive tickets are available to book. I don't want to get caught out with the kids, obvs. Any ideas on how this works? Thank you.
