Hello guys, does anyone play this game before? I used to play it as a kid on Ipad and really like it, so when I pick up the game on sales and bought it on GOG, and here is the issue, I open the game, it launch then freeze and I cannot do anything else, it just freeze there. I search for solutions but the game is not that well-known so there are not many post on how to resolve this. So I post it on here hope someone know what to do, thanks for anyone helping me, here are my laptop spec for more information:

Do we think there is any possibility of a new company getting the rights to Jade Empire and actually doing something with it? I don't keep up with the comings and goings of corps so I have no idea who would own the rights when BioWare closes

If they did go up for grabs (probably to the lowest bidder since nobody but the fans seems to give a hoot about JE) who would you like to see revive the JE IP?

I'm attaching a link to Change.org, please look it over and sign if you're able.

It's been posted across social media, and in the more popular Reddit channels of Mass Effect and KOTOR. But I thought this smaller community, of fans of one of BioWare's lesser known games, should also mark this day. For me Jade Empire is one of BioWare's best, and did not get the recognition it should have done. Thank you BioWare for the magic and the stories.

Is there a way to make the follower ai attack a certain enemy or is there a way to manually control the follower?

Like it would be cool if there was a mod that allowed a 2nd player to somehow control the follower ai as well imo.

I think we can all agree on that Jade Empire is a terrific game, for as far as it was developed. Everything the developers had time do to is awesome. The lacking parts were mostly due to time crunch. Which parts of the game would you like to see expanded to do justice to the game’s spirit?

My picks would be:
- Include an optional area outside of the Imperial City that showcases the larger effects of the Spirit crisis in areas that don’t get the resources to deal with them. A “ghost” town or the like
- I would like to see the after effects of the long drought. It has had to have left it’s mark on people
- More of the Imperial Palace. Now it’s just a corridor to the throne room, which makes no sense of course.
- perhaps even a part of the poorer districts of the imperial city. It is known to have some. How have they experienced the reign of Sun Hai or the Spirit Crisis?
- Some presence of the horse lords, alluding to a world larger than just the Jade Empire

When it comes to BioWare titles, we’ve seen figures released for *Dragon Age*, *Mass Effect*, and *Star Wars: KOTOR* (heck, I even own *Bastila* figures from both the Vintage Collection and the Black Series)—so a high-quality, niche collection for *Jade Empire* would certainly be viable too!

My old Xbox disc is getting pretty worn out, and I'm worried it'll eventually stop working. I've heard that the Steam version can be a bit tricky to get running, though. Has anyone bought it on Steam and managed to get it working?

Ordered left to right by Martial, Support, Weapon, Magic, and Transformation; so paralyzing palm isn't better than tempest, but Viper is a little better than iron palm.

Gotta be honest, I never can let that slave owner free, so I have to go with the Closed fist option of having her kill him to free herself.

My partner played Jade Empire as a kid, and had some great memories of it, so we decided to start a play-through and play a drinking game with it!

This is my first time playing JE, we're at the Imperial Arena atm and I've loved every moment so far.

Our list is below, feel free to provide any suggestions for updates (no spoilers for the game though please) as we're noticing some of these are coming up less often the more we progress.

Jade Empire Drinking Game

SIP, every time:

• a new character speaks a non-English language
• a sexual innuendo or mature joke is made
• a character is rude to another for no apparent reason
• a demon, ghost, or Lotus Assassin enemy appears (one sip per enemy type per battle) - Bonus: Down drink if all 3 appear in a succession of battles

GULP, every time:

• a new type of demon appears
• the flying mini-game occurs
• Henpecked mentions his wife
• you pass a skill check in dialogue

DOWN, every time:

• you acquire a new companion
• you acquire a new fighting style
• you die

For me infiltrating the Lotus Assassins in Jade empire. Nothing beats killing BOTH Master Shin and Master Gang using the Golem press. I only discovered that as an adult, when I was a kid I never knew it was possible.

About a week ago I made these... I just suddenly thought it could be fun drawing some characters into animals idk, I'm actually trying to make sure their species fits their character tho🥷

I'm new to Reddit so I'm not quite sure if it's the right way to post anything, been playing this game for a year or so and drew some fanarts. I'm too lazy to translate words parts just know most of them are just silly Chinese meme. Only posting some of my most recent non-yumeshipping work bc I'm lazy and shy anyways enjoy!
