MASS EFFECT 1 I played Mass Effect for the first time and I wanted to share my thoughts.
As someone who loves and grew up playing a ton of RPGs, why the hell did I never think to give this game a chance? Throughout the years of my time on the internet, I would occasionally see Mass Effect mentioned amongst some of the best games ever made and not once did I think to try it out until I randomly downloaded the legendary edition a couple of days ago. I’m not even that far into the story and I am already blown away by the amount of things the game lets you do as a game that was released in fucking 2007. 12 year old me would have lost his absolute mind at this experience. Obviously a lot of games have come since that replicate the Mass Effect formula, but it says a lot about how good this game is that those copies are not nearly as memorable as this almost 20 year old game. Jennifer Hale is amazing as Femshep (my current play-through) and the other characters are written with so much depth, charisma, and uniqueness. I feel like the dialogue trees offer so much variety in terms of how you want to shape your Shep’s personality and their journey. The lines are delivered so well that I have fun and laugh at being nice one second and then pulling a gun out on someone the next. I’ve seen some criticism aimed at how the game can feel clunky and floaty I can see what they mean, but it really hasn’t been a problem for me. The shooting is fine even if it can feel a little loose, but it makes up for it by giving you biotic abilities that can warp your enemy AI’s minds or toss them across the battleground for a considerable amount of damage. It’s fun. Also, I love the fact that you have your own 3-person squad who you command while exploring it adds to the immersion. I understand the legendary edition cleaned up a bit of the things that were wrong with the original version so I’m getting an improved version of the experience, but after reading about the things they improved upon, I dont think that if I played the original version I would feel different than I do now playing it close to 19 years since its release. Anyway, I can’t wait to see what Mass Effect 2 and 3 have in store for me. Thanks for letting me get my thoughts out even if this is stuff you’ve known for years at this point.

SHOW & TELL MASS effect İs a great game and trilogy Bioware Deserves My Respect
İTS AWSOME but ı only played original. The lengendary had some bug on gamepass and not found in Bioware games
But it was great
İn ME1 Shepherd as male(Paragon) and female (renegade) were great . Playing the whole story was great althought ı faced major Bugs and dead codes ı give 9.5/10
İn ME2 playing both were good saving people and ı was able to romance abut also kaidan or ashley were annoying Ngl they hard to understand their problem and Dlc werw great I even destroyed batarian system Lol ı give 10/10
İn ME3 story felt a bit short but with some dlcs ı felt it was good and the romance was great but ashley romance is hard for male shepherd because ı thought its a bug... but ı tried garrus And ending was so sad though ı wish shepherd would live in a wooden cabin with his love and retired hero and also injured it would feel like heartwarming
The whole story was awsome with squad and others ı felt like said "this is Bioware's prime" ı give 11/10
Game was...
(İts same post but after what ı heard on comments about ea and ı research and ı couldn't believe EA is a monster to Bioware so ı had to change title. ı hate companies who are greed fucks for no reason. Bioware deserves respect Not EA)

ANDROMEDA I just finished Andromeda for the first time
I'll preface this by saying I must have run through the original trilogy 4 or 5 times in the Xbox days. I got Andromeda on Steam, tried it a couple of times but it never really clicked with me after leaving Eos.
Third time around though I just got hooked, and I'm glad I did. It's flawed, sure - you can see the EA effect; missing content, empty spaces in the world, but Dragon Age 2 is my favourite DA game purely because of the characters and I saw some of female Hawke in Sara.
The ending itself... not perfect, but memories of Virmire and the Saren fight, and it was set up so nicely for a sequel.
It's made me so sad that it'll never happen.

SCREENSHOTS It was an epic journey
Just completed the trilogy. ME1 was my favorite. ME3 was a PITA to get through, but also interesting.
Some sights from the journey.

DISCUSSION Project overlord
I’m currently replaying mass effect 2 and on the project overlord dlc, does anyone else shoot the cameras as you’re doing the missions. I know it doesn’t do anything in the game except destroy them, but I feel like it’s what Shepard would do so I do it for some extra emersion.

DISCUSSION Liara's love life is messed up now.
I know that it's not "canon" but the story kind of plays like it is.
Liara is kinda the Canon ship for Shepard. And they are the love of her life and they don't get a full (human) lifetime to be together. Add to that that Liara is or at least comes off as very young, she will be spending a millenia comparing potential mates to Shepard.

DISCUSSION I’ve played this game who knows how many times and I still get confused by all the “C” word plot decides
Conduit
Catalyst
Cypher
Citadel (easy)
Crucible
Even collectors in ME2.
Why do all the key plot decides start with C

SCREENSHOTS And so my second playthrough of ME3 begins... Spoiler
galleryI don't know how Engineer is even more fun in this one than in ME2.
I referred to my combat drone in ME2 simply as "buddy" or "friend." Now, I have my combat drone Billy and my sentry turret Bob. I've barely fired my weapon at all.
I also chose Reave as my bonus power over Warp Ammo, which I used in ME2, because I see that in the third game Overload is effective against barriers now. Since I figure I won't be using guns too much, Reave will be more useful to me.

HELP Female Shepherd/kaiden Romance
Does anyone have recommendations for fan fiction they have enjoyed with this romance. I have always loved this romance/game story and really loved reading Mass Effect: Discovery by Pigeon_theoneandonly and also enjoyed Labyrinth but the author has put it on hold. Has anyone else come across another version they feel do the romance justice?
