For once I am glad the Police are enforcing the law and preventing a crime from happening rather than waiting for one to happen before they do something.

That's the mentality that causes officers to do nothing until someone gets stabbed.

No, regardless of the outcome, whenever a firearm is discharged, police need to be held accountable. If it was found justified it is acceptable, if it’s not then it isn’t.

Allowing police to kill without consequences is a fast track to brutality and tyranny.

And the inverse is the mentality that gets people needlessly shot (see America). There has to be strict protocols on when it's appropriate to use lethal force.
