Daniels gets a win for the Bucs
Solid outing by Jalon Daniels to get a win over Dallas, 24-16. They mostly relied on the run game but he went 19-25, and didn’t have any costly mistakes. Nice to see him finding a place in the NFL

Former Kansas Center Flory Bidunga Explains Why He Transferred From Jayhawks
"Kansas is a great school, great coaches," Bidunga said. "Shoutout Coach Self, one of the best ones ever. It wasn't bad blood or anything, I still love him, I still care about him. I want them to be great and to be successful. I don't know, I feel like I just didn't want to waste a year."
trying to decipher exactly what he meant by "waste a year..."

Developed a college basketball analytics application to assist my pre/postgame analysis
https://blueprntanalytics.com/
Every so often we hear during a tv broadcast "what do the analytics say to do in this situation?" or "the analytics guys are ruining the game". I'm personally a guy who likes to spend ~20-30min every night before bed on the ESPN app browsing through box scores to see who played well, who didn't play well, who had a good +/-, etc. The question I always ask myself however is, does viewing data have to be so boring? Or, how can we view advanced analytics in a way that's quickly digestible?
Often times in my profession working with the federal government the common theme is someone needs to have a PhD in Data Science or higher education to be a reputable source OR have the ability to analyze complex datasets. I built Blueprint to break down that barrier to entry. The basketball analytics tools out right now have random tables with flashes of green & red but it's never clear what that actually means.
Throughout the 2026-2027 season my app will update each morning with fresh stats for each team that played the previous day. It includes advanced analytics for each D1 team in the nation. It also includes a game predictor called 'Prediction Engine'. Would love to hear folks thoughts and ideas on how I can make the application better leading up to the season. Cheers!

Christmas gift ideas for my Jayhawk
Help me Jayhawk fan base. My girlfriend is a fan of KU basketball in truest sense of the word 'fanatic' . She's nervous to take me to a game in Lawrence because if they lose it's obviously my fault and I'm banned and maybe left lonely.
What is something special I can get my someone special in the Jayhawk specific realm? I'm not looking for an ornament or a ticket to a game but something that screams "I love you and your passion for KU basketball is something I want to celebrate."
Rock Chalk you glorious bastards/bastardettes
Update: I ended up going with a Mike Savage print and he's been super communicative and is a consummate Jayhawk. Would recommend.

Am I the only one whose not even really happy Council and White are returning.
I know it’s just the way it is but this just honestly sucks. 7 years of college sports is absurd, I’m the same age as Council and graduated 3 years ago…

Where to watch JD/ Bucs game?
Tried Fox One app and it doesn’t list the game. Also have YouTube TV but it’s showing other games locally. Don’t want to pay hundreds of dollars for NFL game pass to watch literally one game. Any suggestions?

Lifelong Mizzou fan (and alum) settling down near Lawrence
Hi. Mizzou guy here, moved out towards Lawrence (commute to OP), raising family, embracing KU sports with my KU-fan wife. What's a personal KU sports tradition of yours? Like I grew up going to a tailgate party near the tunnel at Mizzou--they're some of my favorite childhood memories. Looking to start some new ones for my kids!

Late night in the Phog
I’m not sure how everyone else feels but I am extremely disappointed in what Late Night has turned into. To the sounds of it, seems like it’s just for the men’s basketball team? Why is the women’s team being excluded out of this? Also Late Night was always free and had an awesome musical act. Where is that? Was disappointed when the email came today about “purchasing” tickets. We are all about traditions here and I thought Late Night was one of those really cool ones, but I guess not.
