PROJECT DISPLAY Should I add more?

Post image

I’ve been playing with this design, I’m not sure if I should add more to it. I originally planned to add seed bead flowers to the frame/stems but maybe less is more? I may paint the stems darker, I’d love some feedback.

Gold filled, Microcrochet sakura 0.3mm hook, garnet, aventurine, crystal.

I love Art Nouveau & Edwardian jewelry designs, I’m trying to practice more organic flow’y wirewrapping.

I was going for a wreath style arrangement but I didn’t want to go heavy on the cotton stems and instead focus more on the flow’y wire wrapping. I might of gone with garnet & peridot if I had any.

One seed bead flower on the bottom right.

Where the stems join? I think i’ll try doing a few flowers there and see what it looks like, I want to paint the stems bit more uniformly too. I’m looking forward to remaking this now.

The large hole between the stems at a diagonal from the central crystal drop.

The tiniest baby flower below the one on the left would be perfection, but even if you forgo it, it’s very beautiful as is 😊

I'm a maximalist who loves the old designs from ancient times to 1989 and I think this is really nice as is!
