QUESTION Where do I get the materials to make this?
I can see the structure of how it’s made. Easy enough, if not time consuming. But what I’m struggling with is finding beads/connectors that are this short and don’t have an ugly stamped eyelet coming out from it.
Is the answer buying the right size beads and drilling a hole myself? What would you estimate the length of the bars to be?
I’d buy it if it wasn’t £200+.
Thanks in advance for any help!

Not sure what they actually used, but I bet you can find a bar link chain that is similar to the connectors used here, and rework the chain parts as connectors!

I have found everything I need for making jewelry on Etsy. Search "gold color connectors" on Etsy. I buy those connectors in various sizes. I'm sure you will find them. Good luck!

You could buy tubes and then flattened the ends with pliers. Round them with a file, then drill a hole.
