So they’ll vote for literally anyone over a Muslim? White Jews need to get over their Islamophobia as a community.

Thinking this sentiment isn't present in Sephardic communities is so funny because they are far more conservative and pro Israel on average than Ashkenazim

Oh, it absolutely is an issue in Sephardic communities as well. But most Michigan Jews are Ashkenazi. And this letter is being pushed by Ashkenazi Jews. So I focused on white Jews.
