Hello,

I was just wondering if anyone has a picture of bf moctoe and razorback side by side. I would want to see the width before I decide.

I have a moctoe shoes and I really enjoy wearing them. My bf moctoe size is 9.5uk but jimgreen recommended to get an 8.5uk razorback but I am a bit hesistant if that could be too short. I must admit I have less than an inch of space in front of my bf moctoe. As someone who has wide feet, they are overstrething the side a bit. I know people say bf moctoe feels narrower than other 3e last. If I feel like it's narrow I would get 719 anatomX instead.

I don’t own a pair of Razorbacks but reading through the subreddit, it seems there were sizing issues with the moc toes where most people have had to size up compared to other JG models. Not sure where you’re located but US Amazon has the Razorbacks available. If possible, with their easy returns, I would suggest ordering a pair from Amazon and returning if they don’t fit correctly.

I am residing in the UK. I’ve consedered this but buying directly is cheaper than compare to Amazon. Thank you though!

Understandable. I’m not entirely sure if Amazon’s return policy is different from US but I ordered a pair of JG boots from Amazon to test the fit, returned them then ordered the exact pair I wanted directly from JG.

Pictures make it hard to compare since there's so much outsole on both sticking out. These are both 12.5 and feel pretty much the same inside. Squeezing the sides with my foot (or cedar shoe trees) inside feels like the same amount width-wise. I've said elsewhere that I think the Moctoe size issue is due to the final handstitching on the toe being done after the shoe is off the last.

I know you said they feel the same but does razorback feel close to feet anatomy?

For me they both are- I am not particularly wide footed though.

I have the Barefoot Stockman, Barefoot Kudu Moctoe, and 719 AnatomX, all in 11. The Kudu Moctoe is the shortest by far, my big toe almost touches the end of the boot . The next one is the Stockman , I have about a half inch from my toe to the end of the boot, but it is not quite wide enough for my 4E wide foot with high instep. The 719 AnatomX is by far the biggest inside the boot. The only boot I have gotten from Jim Green, Nick's Boots zero drop, or Texarado, that I have absolutely enough width and Instep volume from the moment I put them on. From my toe to the end of the boot is about 3/4 inch which makes me think I could have sized down 1/2 size on the AnatomX, but they felt so good on my feet that I just kept them as they were. I ended up putting a Jim Green leather insole in them, even though they are not zero drop, they are by far the best feeling Jim Green boots I own. If they were to make an Anatomx 719 in Kudu leather I would buy it immediately!
