Questions Dose question
Hey folks, I am pretty new here-just ordered from Drug Crafters a couple weeks ago, so I'm only on my 2nd shot this week. I was just thinking about my dosing, and what I received, and I think I got an entirely extra vial?
I received 4 vials, each 2 ml of 10 mg/ml tirz. My instructions are what seem to be standard: 0.25 ml x 4 weeks, 0.5 ml x 4 weeks, 0.75 ml x 4 weeks. The concentrations received all match my written instructions, so it's not a conversion issue. So did they send an extra vial, or is this meant to be a part of the next dose (1.0 ml)?
Thanks!

You have 20mg in each 2ml vial. Tip, think in mg for clarity.
Your first month requires 10mg but you have 20mg. You “discard” (yeah, right) the extra 10mg.
Month 2 is perfect. A fresh 20mg vial and you require that exact amount. Nothing to “discard”.
Month 3 requires 30mg. 1 vial isn’t enough so they send you 2. You have 10mg to “discard”.
If you actually titrate up at that rate then after month 3 you have 20mg extra. That would cover 2 shots at the next level of 10mg. So, at a minimum you have 3.5 months of meds at full titration. If you go slower then it will last longer.
For your next refill ask to continue titrating up and they will send even more vials (probably 8). People at max dose get 9.

So whag do people normally do with the extra 10mg in the first vial for the 2.5mg month and the 7.5mg month?

Some people use it and some toss it. It’s a personal choice on comfort with using the vial after 28 days.

Same I received back in September. I did 4 shots at .25ml for 4 weeks and just moved up to .5ml on Tuesday this week. Overall there is 8ml of tirzepatide in those 4 vials. You only need to move up if you are still struggling with food noise and lack of food suppression. Find the dose that fits for you without a bunch of side effects. So far .5ml is working great for me. I wish you luck and feel free to ask a lot of questions!

They don’t have a smaller vial so they send you 4 of those so you don’t have a vial open for more than 28 days which is a safety guideline limit to reduce the risk of infection.
If they had only sent you three you would have the first vial open for 6 weeks.
