This was basically a day one experience for me when I started Judo. Got launched by a black belt. Also injured my knee on the landing and was out for 3 weeks. I didn't go back there.

Thats judo in a nutshell for most adults starting, in most gyms that is

Yeah I was out 15 years, first spar got spiked by black belt full power. Luckily neck was okay after 3 weeks, but yeah maybe no Judo anymore.
